Before Bug Reporting: DM Seeing All Whispers?

So, in one of my sessions, the DM can currently see all player whispers. Is there a check box I don't know about, or is this a common bug?
If you have set permissions on the characters for you, you will see them.

What al is referring to only applies to whispers to characters, though. If you whisper directly to a player, that won't happen. If the GM is a Pro subscriber, it's also possible they've installed an API script to monitor whispers.
@Al, it happens whether we whisper at characters OR players, so I don't think that's the issue, unfortunately. @Brian, the API script idea would be a smart guess (and one I hadn't thought of), but the GM isn't even a Plus subscriber, lol.

I know for a fact that GMs should not see whispers to PlayerNames.  If you whisper to a CharacterName, everyone listed in " Can Be Edited & Controlled By " will see the whisper, but GMs should NOT be seeing whispers between players. Doublecheck that player's Display Names are different from their character names -- I generally do something like Adara/GK (charactername/my-initials) for my display name so people can remember who is playing my character -- and just for giggles, doublecheck that the creator of the campaign isn't a Pro level subscriber (just in case your GM had a friend create the campaign).  If the whispers are still seen by the GM, write up a bug report, as this shouldn't be happening.
