Turn Timer

My groups run in excess of ten players or more often times, and I really could really use a turn count down timer so people make their decision faster, so I don't have to constantly manage this. Too much game time can be lost, on individual player indecision. Also, if it counts down with no activity or turn closure by the DM, maybe it can move that players turn last in the turn order, or to the following turn (if max segments per round is set to 10)? Other ideas were posted over 8 months ago here (including auto-token route moving- item 15) ... https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1528008/dm-wish-list/?pageforid=1528008#post-1528008

Here is another Suggestion that is similar. If you agree and want to combine for voting, please add your Comments and Vote +1, Timer https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1509275/timer/?p... API scripts can possibly be used for this. Here is a video of one of the Timer scripts that another Roll20 user made, be sure to check the API sub-forum of Roll20 and the Roll20 API Repository to find stopwatch, timer, countdown, and initiative related scripts, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtfOj1HcpNA Last, Here is the Turn Tracker Wiki Help Doc link with some techniques (advancing rounds, changing initiative position of a player), Note: this is not automated connected to a timer like your Suggestion so I understand the suggestion stands as an addition to the Turn Tracker that we currently have here, https://wiki.roll20.net/Turn_Tracker As to the other thread "DM Wish List", clearly lots of thought went into that. Due to the way the Suggestions forum works, it will have greater impact and readability if you split individual suggestions out into their own threads, and give good wording in the Title for each separate suggestion. As you can see, putting 45 suggestions into 1 thread has not garnered any votes. We effectively have several Suggestion topics merged into one there. I understand you won't be able to make 45 threads. Could you choose the most important line-items, or the ones that stand on their own the best, and break some of them out into individual Suggestion threads for greater forum visibility and impact?
no can do. this forum is vote based, so I used up my suggestions already. :(

I sympathize, I am tapped out of votes myself. All I can encourage then is, since some of your suggestions could stand as their own, and others may synch up nicely with someone else's suggestion threads, it's a trade-off to determine how many votes to spend on starting your own Suggestions vs. spending them voting for existing suggestions. You can retract your votes from other threads previously-voted if a tradeoff is needed. In the meantime your Wishlist compilation thread will work, at least a place for others to read the ideas.
