looking for something kinda specific for a character. Dont know what game would allow it.

I wanna build a warrior except I want to be able to dual wield 2H weapons. I know if this does exist there will be penalties for doing so, but it just seems like a sweet character to play. I've only played a little DND 5E and its not strictly by the books kinda game. Pretty close but not dead on. I am more than willing to play something other than DND 5E.
I imagine this is the wrong forum for a post like this, but before it's moved I'll help out. In Pathfinder there's the Barbarian archetype Titan Mauler: http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/barbarian/archetypes/paizo---barbarian-archetypes/titan-mauler . The archetype allows one-handing two-handed weapons of appropriate size and then I assume you can go dual wielding feats from there.
GURPS can do it. As long as your character has TWICE the minimum strength needed to wield the weapon you can use it with one hand. Spend some points in skill Techniques to buy down the "Dual wielding" penalties and you're good to go. Easy-peasy. I don't have the time to run a game but if you (politely) hassle some of the GURPS folks they can get you going. Good luck and have fun!
You could do that in certain FATE games. It really depends on the feel of the game. There is a sort of cyberpunk game that starts in a few hours.
I would always talk to your GM. Though I tend to save my GM Lobbying points for cool story stuff, as opposed to mechanical things. Up to the GM, but me personally, i'm fairly flexible on rules. But two 6 foot weapons are akward. Even 2 longswords is a stretch in my view. your talking about 10 pounds of metal, extending out 3 and a half feet. Not a question of strength ... it's a question of sheer akwardness and design. If you can't throw your back into a two handed sword blow, you need a weapon that is weighted more like a rapeir (lower center of gravity), even if your 8 feet tall with 20 strength.
Well, you might be able to do it with hand and a half swords and certain exotic weapons in 3.5, with the right mix of feats and strongarm bracers? But it all comes down to what the DM allows.
I'd allow it but your swords would have the stats of one handed weapons. Flavor > rules.
