Change in XP Awards

I dislike giving XP based on killing monsters.  What if you are clever and sneak past or bluff through a situation and avoid combat? Do you not get XP for that?  So going forward I will grant XP awards at certain times or milestones in the campaign.  It won't be every week and it won't be based off just how many monsters you killed. I am happy to take you input here if you think this is a bad idea or you really prefer to get XP weekly. Please let me know. Nick
I always look at it as DM discretion, both whether to do milestone or whether to be giving out XP for bypassing encounters (e.g., in my game, I would have given it out if the group had gotten away from the lodge without a fight).
I'm good with which ever you decide. Either way XP is still going to be given at some point. Do remember you did the milestone when Draxell and I started so i'm sure he will be fine with it as well.
Whatever you feel is best.
