Looking for a D&D 3.5/Pathfinder Game

Hello there. I am Jake, 25 years old. New on roll20, but have decent experience in D&D (mostly 3.5). I am hoping to join a consistent group, who plays at least once on weekends every week or every other week- any time period works for me. Both text and vioce-based RP are fine with me. I have recently created a character, with substantial depth of background and personality, whom I would like to play with. She is a Psion 'Kineticist'. As implied above, I haven't played too much Pathfinder (only 4 times, 2 years ago), but I am certain that I will 'swallow' the system pretty quickly with a lil guidance. In case psionics isn't allowed, I would like to play as an Oracle, or a Witch. Thus, I am waiting for an enthusiastic group to invite me on an epic adventure. Thank you.
Hey there, I'm not sure about procedure but I am also very interested in a game like that. I haven't created a character as of yet because I like to feel the rest of the group first and consult them, turn the character creation process into a group activity if desired, or at least now which role can still be used. I have only played the 4th Edition of D&D so far, but I have all the material required for Pathfinder and D&D 3.5 and I am a year-long roleplayer that likes to take the game seriously and explore not just the depths of his own character but also of his companions.  I am eager to begin to DM on the 3.5 system but I have literally no experience in it, which is why I would love to be a player, or at least a spectator in a 3.5 game. (Sorry Jake, I hope I didn't hijack your forum post here, I don't mean to steal any spots away from you, I just hope that if there is a spot available for you I might slip in as a spectator myself!)* Greetings
If any body cares I am very new to DnD and would also like to either play 3.5 or pathfinder. I have all the books that i need and know mostly everything that one needs to know about the rules. If anybody would like to play just let me know.
Hey fellas, if any of you are free tomorrow on Friday at 7:00PM Central, we need at least one more in our campaign for the trapfinder/skill monkey role, so if you don't mind playing a Scout or Rogue, send me a PM and I will message the DM about it. Most of the players are relatively inexperienced, so you would all mostly fit in. Its DND 3.5, level 1, SRD+Complete X books (complete adventurer, divine, etc).
I too would love to play. :)
Still searching for a game.
Im new to dnd 3.5 but not rollplaying. I would love to join a consistent playing group if someone could give me some guidelines as to how properly create a character, im still reading all of the documentation and rules atm
Unfortunately i have dislike for psionics in fantasy settings :\
Awh, Lex, sorry to hear that you have an irrational aversion to people who use their brains. Get well soon :(
I dont mind them in sci-fi settings (like psykers in warhammer 40k), just dont see them fit into fantasy setting. Good luck finding GM who shares you point of view. Also, interesting read .
I'd love to play a game as a psion as well.  @Lex You know you can just re flavor them? Magic is essentially commanding the world to change to your will, so are Psionics. You can make them look nearly the same in the game, by simply saying that "psionics are a different form of magic" just with different mechanics (which wont affect role-play).
And I don't see the color brown fit for any kind of clothing; both are just opinions. Telekinesis, Pyrokinesis, etc. have always been counted as 'magick' throughout history. A wizard who uses telekinesis works with the concept of Monotheism, Polytheism and such, since s/he draws power from another being (their essence). A psion using telekinesis works with the cosmological structure that is Pantheism, or the God-Fragment Theory that is basically All Is One, One Is All, which is not sci-fi, but pure fantasy. So, thanks for letting me know (for no reason too) that you don't 'think' psionics belong in fantasy genre. I love your conviction tho, it bumped my topic, twice. ^-^ I don't have high hopes of finding one, but thanks. Good luck to you too.
