Earth is gone. The Dead have won. The Womb is the last home
for the human race. So named because it is suppose to give birth to a
new world. A new start for humanity. But systems are failing and
supplies are running out. The Council has decided on one desperate
move. To send a team back down to scavenge what they can. Surely after
a century or so The Death will have played itself out. Besides, to do
nothing is to condemn what is left of the human race to a slow painful
death. This is where you come in. Rather out of desperation, greed, or
maybe some lingering sense of heroism, you have volunteered. Now you
are on a drop ship back to this dead world. You may start out well
supplied, but after you land you will have to rely on your team and what
you can scavenge on a world that want you dead.
Dead World will be run using the Cypher System Core Rulebook.
However, I will be drawing on material from other game lines for the
system. Even though Dead World has horror trappings, it is not intended
to be a horror game. Although there may be horror moments. Please do
not be afraid to add to the lore. The main thing that I need at this
point is a character idea. You do not have to have an exact "title." I
am willing to consider starting earlier if we get enough people. Any
