Doors and dynamic lighting

This is a technical problem I've not been able to solve: How to make "mobile" light-blocking objects? If I draw segments or squares in the dynamic lighting layer, I will sometimes be able to move them, and sometimes I won't. Cannot figure out the reason. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
As long as they are separate objects, and not attached to the walls, you should be able to move them separately. Selecting small objects on the DL layer can be difficult though, try shift-drag to select the area, then you can move it with the arrow keys, or use alt-arrow to move it one pixel at a time. That works for me if I can't seem to click on it to select it.

zoom in and use 'fat' lines for doors - easiest way to move them for me.
Yup, use the line method myself for doors.  After that, all you have to do is use the pointer, click and drag thereby creating a select box that includes part of the line.  Once it is selected then you can click and delete it once the characters have "unconcovered" the room os to speak.

Other than manually manipulation of the individual line used for the door, you might want to look into the API (pro level feature) scripting for it might be able to move a door line when a token approaches it or upon a command.
Thanks for your replies! Even with zoom and thick lines (or flat rectangles), sometimes it just doesn't let me move it with the mouse, but yes, I can do it with arrows and alt + arrows. Deleting them and making them again if necessary is all right too. Problem solved! :-)
The API sounds interesting too, though I don't have the time to get good profit of it at present. Considering additionally the transmogrifier and other features, I'll probably upgrade soon. Thanks for the suggestion.
