Season 2 Episode 1 ... Yaks, Poodles, and Undying Spirits The team viewed as cheating to the general population of Rotting Blade, the team suddenly find themselves at disadvantage with every social interaction to the tow n in general. True to his word, Graal has the authority to grant property -- 4 of the combine and the orphan territories join the ranch the team had already acquired for a total of 6 yak lots... enough to sustain a 6 HD creature indefinitely. The team's image is set in stone when Graal withdraws contention for the orphan property with no explanation. the town of blood crescent has had some recent arrests for civil unrest. there is a larger popuation immigrting to Rottin Blade to the point now tha there is noticable homeless in the water areas and in town. Carrion clansmen are found positioned in the hills south of Rottin blade and the bravado pirates have been deputized to insert privateer pressure on the borders pirates had escalated confrontations with the squidmen butnow droaam cruisers are patrolling the area... there have been a few deaths reported by fishermen but there's no proof of it.. the fishermen are being intimidated and now Graal is devoting time to patrolling the area along with the mayor's barge with militia men and there's been close brushes with each other... Over the next 7 days the team accumulates ranch hands to self=sustain the location for the team.. 2 favors accumulate per year if left unharnessed.. but instead, the team offers to feed the refugees in exchange for public works labor to imporve Rotting Blade and grant them assylum for being productive contributors to the town. The mayor favors the idea so much that he encourgates the team to meet with Varias' delegates to fund the rest of the operation... Meri takes the meeting and forwards the idea on to the Burning Citadel. .. Hedwig is again present on Meri's shoulder after his death in a previous contest... david notices the wildling's presence wtihin Hedwig along with ribons of shadow flowing from the swollen river into town. between tea ceremonies and truesight, the kashakant and freindfell sites are seemingly less stable, swelling and shuddering like a growing wave. combined with the swelling river, soggy grasslands, and the bottled underground river, the team figures releasign the river through kashakant on the way to friendfell will help alleviate the damp ground, the seething titan sites.. but want to first establish a sorce of tea moss for themselves. after excessive idiocy with carrion hipsters at the kashakant facility, the team jsut climbs in and tears a chunk of bone out of the moss chamber. Yes, it is actual bone, unlimke the limestone type material the titan gear is composed from. with living moss embedded in titanskull, they transplant the moss into a yak's skull for experimentation. Worth noting, it would seem tnhat kashakant is in process of being converted into a theme park destination of sorts. back in rotting blade the team finds clerics of the keeper performing a new moon sacriice ritual while trcking recent black poodles that have been appearing, and disappearing, in town causing a menace. they seem really vicious eating the crpse of a just-killed kitten but more interesting is how the black poodles slip into the spirit world as they hunt. more true vision leads them back along a trail to where the poodles have been using as a lair... Mad Falconer's old shop. The team finds Havoc inside with his shadow servants poking throughout the building.. in an unusually large fireplace, a coffin is found tucked out of sight up the flue.... 2+2= Poodle the vampire is in town. Havoc is concerned she's there to cause varias trouble, but she may simply be enjoying the long distance relationship with Mad Falconer. They put a ward on the coffin to see when/if she returns to assess the situation.
