LFP Vampire: the Masquerade - Dark Ages (GMTish)

EDIT: Thank you all for your interest. I received quite enough replies and found two candidates already. Sorry if I did not get around to contact you all directly. If it becomes relevant I might get back to you. After a somewhat longer absence from gaming, I have finally found myself with some more time on my hands and would like to use it to run a good old-fashioned Vampire the Masquerade game again. With the release of the new V20 Dark Ages in particular, I have really gotten into the mood of running a game in a historic setting, which I enjoy the most as I consider myself a bit of a history nerd. As for the time of the game, I should note that I am living in Europe, therefore I can only run the game during European evening hours. My girlfriend and other life duties further dictate that I really can only run the game on Mon, Tue, Wed or Thu evenings. Keeping that in mind, please let me know of your availability, preferences and time zone when applying. Also up front I should note that this is a voice-only game that will use Skype for voice calls and communication between sessions. With all that out of the way, if you are still interested: As for the game itself, my goal is to run a small group game with two, maybe three player characters and try to find and create a setting that is particularly appealing and relevant to the three of us and matches up with the clan configuration we come up with. While I am not too heavy-handed on canon or meta plot continuity, I am less interested in some random (in my experience rather bland) game setting where any random character could be plopped in. Instead I want to work with the players to find a complimentary choice of characters and setting. This could for examples be realized as a campaign focused on the Knights of the Black Cross, with a Ventrue knight crusading with them in the Baltics supported for example by a Tremere emissary. Another option could be a game focus on the intimacies of Clan Giovanni during the Venetian Republican era. I am fairly flexible in general and have an interest in quite a lot of different kinds of themes and locations, although I probably want to keep it in and around the Dark Ages era and Europe. I'm also generally not too keen on bringing in bloodlines or uncommon forms of kindred if there is no strong support for it (i.e. just for special snowflake purposes), as I enjoy playing with in-clan politics which is hard in such situations. My expectations for players apart from the usual common courtesy stuff, largely that they take an interest in helping to define, create and develop the setting before the game and through their characters afterwards. My games tend to skew more on the political side of things generally rather than combat, plus as I said, I enjoy indulging in historic setting material for the purpose of games as well, so an interest in history would probably be appreciated and of use. If you are interested or have questions, please let me know, ideally with ideas or preferences of your own if you have some already and your Skype info so we can discuss things further.

A friend and I were just talking about how much we wanted to play a dark ages vampire game tonight. We're both pretty familiar with the system (we don't have every single rule memorized, but we know how to play) and we have a decent grasp on the clan politics (although we don't know hard specifics like who has a grudge again whom, or anything that minute). On the downside, I know virtually nothing about history and I doubt my friend does either in any real capacity. I personally love the idea of creating a cohesive, logical group rather than "everyone pick whatever for whatever reason". On the other hand I would be virtually useless helping craft a setting that you wanted to be historically accurate (see don't know anything about history above)...but I'm all for playing in one. My friend and I live in -6UTC, so our availability all depends on what time zone you're actually in and what times you mean by "evening".  (I already have an idea for a group)
This sounds awesome, I wish I had time to commit
I'm very interested.  Like the OP, I used to play Vampire a lot -- and the Dark Ages book was one of my favorites (really the first one, the purple one) -- but I've been away from it for a while.  And, the idea of creating that cohesive group of characters and talking about what we want the campaign to look like, so we're all on the same page and construct characters that make the most sense with it, is something I think is important in all campaigns, but especially to something as character-driven as Vampire.  And, like Snowman, I tend to prefer my Vampire games with a political bent, punctuated by moments of violence and action, and prefer to avoid the more exotic elements of the WoD in a Vampire game such as odd bloodlines or even other supernaturals.   The only challenge for me, like Ordellus, is timing.  I'd love a game on weekday evenings, my weekends are mostly spoken for.  But, I live in US Central Time (GMT -6).  Let me know if that's possible time zone-wise.   Regardless, it sounds like a great set-up to a game.
I'm intrigued.  It's been years since I've played anything in WoD, much less VtM, but I always did enjoy it.  Never did any of the dark age variants though! My specialization is far from dark age Europe, but I still remember bits and pieces from undergrad, lol.  I'd be happy to help craft a believable world.  Keep me in the loop and let me know what you decide timing wise.  I'm in the east coast USA so GMT-5, which might be too tricky to manage.
Just in case it got lost in spam, I left a pm with the GM. Hopefully, we can hear back from him!
