Yet another Macro question

Hi everyone, I am fairly new to Roll20 but love the concept, I am trying to create a Red Dwarf RPG from scratch using the ruleset from Deep7's book, I have managed to create the character sheets, which took me a while considering I have absolutely no html or css knowledge. The issue I am having at the moment is, I need to do skill checks on the character's abilities, for example, someone's Agility is 3 and the player needs to roll 2d6, but, when I say roll 2d6, I mean 2 6 sided dice and add those numbers together to give a total and then that total has to be equal or less than their Agility to succeed, so, I need a Macro that will roll the two dice, add them together and if the result is equal or lower than their agility, it will report a success or failure, I thought I had it sussed but, I just cannot figure it out, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Something like this should work: [[ { [[2d6]], 100}<3 ]] I believe that will give you the number of successes. The 100 is there to make the group valid (more than one entry) and will always fail. The 2d6 are rolled and summed in the nested inline roll and the result compared to 3.  There may be cleaner solutions, but that should get you going.
Thanks, but, what if their agility is another number ? In addition, I am not wanting a number of successes, rather, a single success or fail from 2 d6 added together, basically, I would say "what your wanting to do requires agility, roll to test" and they roll 2 d6, add them together and if they get lower than whatever their agility might be, they succeed, above and they fail.
I was thinking along the lines of /roll {1d6+1d6}<@AGL but that doesn't work, so, totally baffled.

How about /roll { [[2d6]], 100}<@{AGL} ?
That seems to do the trick, one last thing, how would I add a modifier option to that above macro, to make it easier or harder for the player to acheive a pass on their skill check, so, it would be anything from a -12 to a +12, obviously, a -12 would make it impossible to fail the skill check, but a +12 would make a instant failure, so, any ideas on that ? Thanks so far.

Some options: [[ { [[ 2d6 + ?{Adjustment|0} ]], 100}<@{AGL} ]] [[ { [[ 2d6 ]], 100}<[[@{AGL}- +?{Adjustment|0}]] ]]   You might also see if this works: [[ { 2d6+?{Adjustment}, 100d1}<@{AGL} ]]
