LFG WH40K Dark Heresy. Any weekend night/day (timezone ACST)

Hi, I am hoping to join a group playing WH40K RP preferably Dark Heresy but open to others. I am new to the RPing scene but I am an experienced gamer; including Games Workshop tabletop games such as WH40K. Would prefer a reasonably mature group as I am 32 myself, anything above 18 should be fine though. Cheers, Michael

Hey mate, I'm only just getting involved with roll20 but I've played Deathwatch for a while and GW tabletop for years. I've joined one dark heresy group here but I'd love join another or a different 40k rpg. I don't feel I have the experience to GM unfortunately so I'd just be in as a player. A mature group is exactly what I'm looking for as I'm in my late 20s. Cheers, David

Sounds good.  I definitely wouldn't be able to GM at this stage would like to have a few play through under my belt before taking that role. Hopefully someone will jump in here and offer up some GMing. I liked the idea of Dark Heresy because the players are just ordinary plebs not uber space marines. And the possibility of scenarios with plenty of intrigue as well as gory melee/firefights would very interesting.

Hi! I've never played Dark Heresy before, but I'm quite interested in playing either a psyker or tech-priest. I'm 20, my current time zone is GMT+4, which might be a problem.

Hi Alexander, I'm quite open to a wide range of session times to make it fit, don't mind getting up early or staying up late. Just needs to be on the weekend (local time for me).

If it becomes too difficult to find a GM I would be willing to try my hand at it with the starter adventure The Edge of Darkness. Though it's possible that many people have read or played this already, due to it being freely available. 

I'd be up for joining, I could possibly run a campaign, I've run other ones though not dark heresy, I've only ever played dark heresy

Hi George, It would be awesome if you would run the campaign. I would really like to cut my teeth on a play through before trying GM. Do you have anything particular in mind? Also if there is a strong sentiment for one of the other settings we could go for that.

I would love to join, only just joined d20 but played lots of Warhammer 40k tabletop and normal warhammer. Played D&D once with friends before looking to get into it more.

I would be very forgiving of anyone willing to GM so don't worry about mistakes as it sounds like we would all be fairly new. Also the pre-made missions wouldn't be an issue for me as I tried not to read them, in case a new GM wanted to use those missions as a test run. Time isn't an issue for me either and I'm happy to stay up late or get up early to accommodate someone.

Time etc im very flexible aswell, Ive not read the pre-made missions just the rest, so would be no issue if we play those.

Cool, plenty of interest. George C. if you are willing to run a game then we can start the ball rolling. We probably wont be able to fit everyone into one game but I might look to start one soon as well using The Edge of Darkness, probably wont start that this weekend but rather the following weekend.

I have seen some dark heresy gameplay and I would be very interested in playing this but unfortunately I wont be able to GM as I am still pretty new. I am good to go on the weekends from 11:00AM to 4:00PM and 6:00PM to 10:00PM but not so much during the week.

OK guys it's looking like it might be 2100 GMT on Friday. We can try and be flexible though to get as many as possible up to 6 PCs. George C is going to GM and most likely use the 2 Ed ruleset.  You can fire me a PM if you are interested.
