Roll20 game lowers Teamspeak volume.

When I join a roll20 game, the volume on my Teamspeak drops off severely. If I disconnect Teamspeak and rejoin the channel, sometimes the volume returns and sometimes it does not. Confusing. Has anyone encountered this problem?
Unfortunately yes,but it does not happen all the time

This doesn't look like something the standard troubleshooting guide can help with, but it certainly won't hurt anything either. The stuff from Step 4 is going to be the most important (especially the console log), but if you could pretty please humor me by doing steps 1-3 first that clears out the low-hanging fruit and lets the devs focus on the more esoteric possibilities -- assuming the issue rests with Roll20. Can you please follow Steps 1-3 of our Solving Technical Issues checklist (confirm you're using the latest non-test version of Firefox or Chrome and if possible test your situation in both browsers; turn off all extensions, addons, and anti-virus; and clear your cache) to see if one of those components is causing the problem? We can only help if we can recreate your issue, so it is important that you follow each step. If doing that fixes the issue, just let us know. Otherwise, move on to Step 4 , and we'll need all that information to further assist you.

IQ o. Can you go and check your windows sound settings? Go to your control panel>sound>communications and check what your settings are. If it is not set on do nothing then change and apply it to that setting then try to use your teamspeak and roll20 like you did before.
Well, I found a fix. Use Chrome instead of Firefox. Current version of Firefox. Win 7 Java enabled No anti-virus Mozilla extensions - Adblock Plus Google Translator for Firefox Mozilla Plug-ins - Openh264 Video Codec Primetime Content Decryption Module Shockwave Flash Adobe Acrobat Google Update Java Deployment Toolkit Java Platform SE 8 u65 Nvidia 3d Vision Silverlight Plug-in Oddly enough, I am no longer able to duplicate the problem. I was able to recreate it several times that day, but not now : / I assure you , it was not a figment of my imagination. I was loosing around 50% volume on TS as soon as I joined the game window. Granted, the DM had music playing at the time, with other gamer' present. Those factors were not present today when I attempted to make it happen. Thank you for the replies and attempts to help, but I do not think I will even attempt to run roll20 on Mozilla again, as it is my main browser, and as I experiment with streaming, you really need a dedicated browser to run your application, as the active tab is the one that will be broadcast when streaming a Window. And as most know, it is common to be jumping between several tabs during a game. I want any audience I have to see the game, not my spell and equipment list, or bugbear porn :o
Just to add, as soon as I closed the roll20 game tab, the sound from TS would return to normal. If I would refresh the page, the few moments I was not connected, the sound from TS would return. Again, kind of a non-issue at this point, but details are details.
That's likely not a roll20 issue but more likely a setting within Windows or Teamspeak I would imagine. You might try the steps provided here&nbsp;<a href="http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2596397" rel="nofollow">http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2596397</a> . I dont use teamspeak personally but you might try it out.
Thank you for the replies. There is a small but nice following here. I will still poke at this issue as time allows. I ran it again the other day, this time with other people in the game, not just me. The volume on TS cut down again, with another player in the game, using Firefox. On that note, you are likely correct about this not being a roll20 issue. I think the problem occurred when a youtube video opened in another tab, so that would indicate Windows being the culprit.&nbsp; To Ryan H, and Pat S, I checked the win comm setting, sure enough, was set to reduce volume by 80% WHEN a phone call is in place. There was no call taking place, but there was an obvious reduction in volume, so we shall see. I set it to do nothing, and now just need to wait for people to get home. Again, I will be using Chrome for the game, and surfing tabs as needed on Firefox. Now I just need to get my Spot Check on a hotkey macro. Was able to figure out Initiative after a tutorial and some tweaking.

Windows has a habit of classifying all audio stream services such as TS, Mumble, Skype, ect... as a phone service give it a shot with the setting at do nothing and see if that solves the problem.
Let us know if your issue is resolved once you get around to testing it! I'll close the thread once I have confirmation or if not, I will see if there is any other way I can help you out.
