Augments in Darrian Space

Page 77 of the Darrian book ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-0fC1x4pDLvWVdIb... ) rather clearly doesn't do augments... except , possibly, for purposes of espionage... for which Charoux almost certainly has some contacts. The book mentions one alternative, Laberv; which is probably a nearly lawless black-market backwater. So *real* options are probably limited to Charoux asking around his intelligence circles, and them being installed *by* those intelligence circles, or Dr. Lyireh, if possible. So the question at hand is, how far do you guys want to trust Darrian Intelligence Agencies being part of your augments? XD
Crow and Gev were no dummies. With the highly abusable Augments they were looking at, is it any wonder that they did not tell any of the onboard Darrians where they were going or what they were doing? So, no, they did not tap Charoux at all for the Augments they purchased and transported with them to Laberv. But don't dispair, the two characters were subject to Encounter rolls all the same. That is, they had the same chances of having plot hammers strike. No worries. It would take some naughty Passenger manifest hacking and purchase tracking, (both an illegal action on Darrian as they value personal privacy), to learn what Crow and Gev were up to. They did not take the same transort either. Crow left days before Gev even if they had the same idea. Gev was delayed by his elder sister's holoshoot expose on the beach.
Yeah, my point wasn't that Charoux would report them for wanting Augments... more that he would have explained the situation in Darrian space to the Crew on the matter, and that he would tap his resources if asked; which, it stands to good reason, he wouldn't have been.
