Token Highlighting?

Hey all, I play a game where the GM has everyone's tokens highlighted (outlines with their "ping" color), but I don't see any option for it! I asked him how he does it, but he never answered and just went on vacation. It's something that would be very useful on darker maps... Is it an API, and if so, where can I find it?
P.S. - I am not talking about the tint option found on the token's basic settings, it outlines the token's edges. I'd offer a screenshot, but he has the tabletop set to the world map and I'm not a GM on his game.

To provide a screen shot you should be able to drag your token onto the world map as players were given this ability with the last update. Take the screen shot and if you are unable to remove your token afterwards you can simply explain the situation to the GM when they return?

The Gm opens the token, sets the Aura-1 color to the desired color, and sets the Aura-1 size to zero. He must also go to the advanced tab of the token and set Aura-1 to "see". I also uncheck "edit" for the token so people ar not changing it all of the time. This makes it easier to find the tokens in crowds. As GM I also use this to highlight certain tokens for my use, spellcaster opponents etc. in that case I do not check the "see" field for the players.
Without using the API however, the aura color won't change if player's change their color.
Thank you all for replying, I'll answer each of you by quoting: Ziechael said: To provide a screen shot you should be able to drag your token onto the world map as players were given this ability with the last update. I wasn't able to drag my token unto the map, and doesn't that use your avatar as a token? My character's token is different then my avatar, but thank you for the idea. al e. said: The Gm opens the token, sets the Aura-1 color to the desired color, and sets the Aura-1 size to zero. That's a good idea al, but as I had stated it has nothing to do with the auras. You effectively made a token base by doing this, when my GM does it it's a colored highlight that outlines the token. See my screenshot below... HoneyBadger said: Without using the API however, the aura color won't change if player's change their color. I think he's using some sort of API, because I have a pro account and sure don't see the setting anywhere! Anyways, I looked at one of the other character sheets and found what I am talking about! Here's an example (unlighted token via google):      Without highlighting             With highlighting I think it's just colored outline on the avatar, but that's pretty much what the effect looks like!

did he just add a 'glow' in photoshop and re-upload the image?
Yeah, this has nothing to do with Roll20... he just added a glow/stroke to the outline of the tokens and re-uploaded them to the campaign. That kind of highlighting simply isn't possible in Roll20 by default.

It would be easy enough to test, next time you are in the game change your player colour and see if the token updates when moved or not. If so there may be some custom script running on the API but it would be my expectation that the 'glow' would remain the previous colour...

It has no image processing capabilities.
