Map Stretching

Okay, so I'm trying to make some maps, and the map keeps stretching to touch the edges of my sight. So instead of having a map that's actually 25x25 it looks like I've got a map that's 25x27.5ish, and is just generally annoying. Is there a way to fix this, or is it just an unfortunate thing? (Zoomed in at 50%, map stretching to the right side.)
Do you have the grid turned on? If so, do you actually have 25 by 27.5 squares? If you really have 25 by 25 squares and it only appears wider, be sure to check this thread: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/3688/map-alignment-and-you-or-101-ways-to-get-your-grids-in-a-row for help aligning your map to the grid accurately.
I have the grid turned on, and I can't actually place anything on the extra grid that appears, it remains blank. I'll check the link, and see if it helps, but it's just stretching a phantom grid out more as far as I can tell.

I believe this is linked to known problem at certain zoom levels where the grid and background extend to the edge of the VTT even when they aren't technically that big. While it is certainly annoying the devs are aware of it, in the mean time if it confuses you or simply makes it difficult to see the real edges I would recommend either adjusting your zoom (quick resolution) or using the polygon/line tool to draw a brightly coloured line around the actual edges of your maps (slower, aesthetically less pleasing but will keep everything 'in bounds'). As this is a known issue I'll go ahead and close this thread now but I hope the trade off of constant development of key features is worth putting up with niggles like this that will get solved in time i'm sure :)
