In the Guild, when you retire a character and make a new character,
that PC gets a certain amount of gold and XP depending on its new starting level. Gold
values are determined based on the sum of: the value of item of that
PC's level-1, the value of item of PC's level, and 2 x value of item of PC's level+1.
