Help finding tokens for modern characters

I'm going to be running a game set mostly in the USA, mostly on a university campus, and set between 1920 and 1963. I can't find tokens suitable for use as professors, janitors, students, co-eds, football players, preppies, lab monkeys, ape-men, police, national guardsmen, G-men, detectives, teaching assistants…. I run a lot of games with a contemporary or near-contemporary setting, including Victoriana, Westerns, espionage, PI campaigns, police procedurals, urban fantasy, etc.. I'm thinking of trying Gaslamp Fantasy soon. Can anyone suggest how I might find suitable graphics?
Might I suggest Google Image search + RPTools' TokenTool? (<a href="http://www.rptools.net/index.php?page=tokentool" rel="nofollow">http://www.rptools.net/index.php?page=tokentool</a>) I find that for many of my random token needs, I can find a picture of the thing I want. Thirty seconds later, I've loaded it into TokenTool and saved it as a new token. Then it's just a matter of dragging that token into Roll20 and I'm ready to go.
So I guess I'm not going to get many top-down sprites….
Ah, that's what you're after. Yeah, those might be a bit more difficult to come across. I'll let you know if I find anything, though.
I'd like the same thing, except for superheroes. I'll keep an eye out. There are some police available now, but that's about all that I've found.
If someone with a figure rendering package would like to create a library of such graphics I would gladly contribute to their Kickstart.
That would be a pretty handy deal Agemegos. It may just need someone with Max, Maya or whatever to find some pre-made models, look down at the model and take a screenshot or export of that view. *Edit: I'm looking into using Blender for this...
There seems to be quite a few tokens linked to from here: <a href="http://rpgvirtualtabletop.wikidot.com/tokens" rel="nofollow">http://rpgvirtualtabletop.wikidot.com/tokens</a> There are also quite a few token packs listed on drivethrurpg.com, though I can't say if it's what you want.
I've forgotten who was looking for superhero tokens, and search isn't helping. I found four good ones (and a guy in a sheriff's-deputy uniform!) by searching "deputy".

Excellent! Thank you very much! <a href="http://rpgmapshare.com/" rel="nofollow">http://rpgmapshare.com/</a> in particular has a great selection of modern and sci-fi stuff and is supported by donations.
one option that may or may not be an option depending on what you want is to find a picture thats close, then create a border around say the face or some such. the other option requires a bit more, but you can rather easily get some miniatures and Green Stuff (molding compound) and customize/paint it. Take a picture and upload it. There is also hero machine <a href="http://www.ugo.com/games/superhero-generator-heromachine-2-5" rel="nofollow">http://www.ugo.com/games/superhero-generator-heromachine-2-5</a> and other online superhero/action hero character generators. Lastly if you can commission a drawing from someone.

I was not able to get the jar file to run. I was able to get Tokentools to run from the launch page. <a href="http://www.rptools.net/index.php?page=launch" rel="nofollow">http://www.rptools.net/index.php?page=launch</a>
I had one player who had trouble running the rptools jar files. It was a dual issue. First, her java was out of date, and second, winrar had taken association of jar files, so it was opening it as if it was an archive, instead of executing it. I totally second using tokentool to make tokens though.
A lot of people have technical issues running TokenTool and there is no convenient troubleshooter available for those of us who aren't programmers. The people on their forums tend to get pretty haughty about it, too. After hours of effort, I am still unable to open the .jar file. I've given up on TokenTool for now, but there is no other Token generator available.

Pending any sort of official add-on like Ezra suggested: If you'd like help with your particular case, feel free to make a thread in dedicated to it. Maybe some of us here will be able to help (obviously can't say for sure). Be sure to include any info that you think may help, (Computer OS, Java version, etc). Maybe we can get a friendlier 'TokenTool troubleshooting' thread together for those who are having issues.

Do you get an error message, or is it just that nothing happens? Also, what operating system do you use? I'm familiar with getting it working on Windows, but not so much with other OS's.
