Beginner tips

Hey all, My copies of Fiasco and Unframed are arriving tomorrow, and I super excited! Additionally, I was wondering if people have any Fiasco-specific gaming tips that might not be covered in these books, that a beginner could benefit from hearing? Additionally, any playing tips that make for better Roll20 games? Thanks!

Make sure you emphasize that the game is not a "fit in the pieces" puzzle game.  A player dictates the story's logic in his/her scene.  If people start side talking about what's going to happen/what should happen/what needs to happen because something else happened/what shouldn't happen . . . then try and lead them away from that into just starting the scene.  Remember and stress the fact that, when it is his or her scene, the player has the irrefutable power to dictate what happens; their character is the star of the scene.
