LFM: Cyberpunk 2020 using Savage Worlds rules

Would anyone be interested in a RPG set in the Cyberpunk 2020 universe using Savage Worlds rules? Right now I'm just seeing if anybody would be interested at all before I take the time to write out a detailed description of the game and how I'd like to run it, and start the task of coordinating with players to get everything prepared. But for now, I'll sum up the game by mentioning that Cyberpunk 2020 was a classic RPG set in the usual Blade-Runner inspired sci-fi near-future of a world dominated by megacorporations, and cyberware has become a regular thing amongst the populace. The actual rules set we'd be using would be Savage Worlds with the Science Fiction companion. A free copy of all the rules a new player would need to learn and play Savage Worlds is available online from the publisher's web site.

I think you should look into Interface Zero 2.0, it's far more in line with Cyberpunk than anything the Science Fiction companion has to offer and is focused around cyberpunk stuff. Not that all of it is applicable, but a great deal of it would be, and the edges and edge modifications are ideal for this sort of project. 

Already did, and bought a copy of the book in fact. While I love Interface Zero 2.0, my goal for the cyberpunk game I'm trying to get started is to make it as newbie friendly as possible, and also try to cut down on as many rules and bookkeeping as possible for more casual play (I'm only using a couple of sections from the Science Fiction Companion - not the entire book). Also, I don't want anyone to feel compelled to have to buy a copy of a book they may not want in order to "keep up" with the game. I'm earnestly trying to make the only requirement for my game is to own and know the free rules PDF you can download from the Savage Worlds web site.

I'm a big fan of both the CP2020 rules and setting so I'd be interested depending on schedule. I've played some Savage Worlds, Interface 1.0 to be exact, but that was a few years ago so I'd be a bit rusty on that front. 

I am a huge fan of CP2013 and CP2020 having played both a bunch. I have experience with Savage Worlds and would be very interested in this.

Figured I'd bump my post to mention that we've moved beyond just "gauging interest" into creating characters and are planning to hold a game this upcoming weekend.

Chuck, if you'll provide the exact text you'd like for your new title, I'm sure a passing mod would gladly change it for you. ;)

Hey, I don't know if I've missed the boat on this one and I'm a total noob but I would love to get into this.  I love the setting, have the rulebook and am really keen to play it, even if it does seem pretty complex.  Let me know what to do if I can be a part of it. Cheers.
