So I have some time off from school soon and thought about doing a DnD 4e game. Been really hyped up after watching the new Hunger Games movie and reading the books. Thought this would be a great adaption for the game. I was thinking of doing the first session live (like through skype) but after that we would do play by post. Still trying to figure out how it all would work with "turns" and stuff. Would go against the "Hunger and Thirst" rules in the books, as they are vague and contradict each other. Here is what I have for now: When taking an extended rest you need to eat 1 "ration" of food to gain the benefit of replenishing your HP back to full. To gain the benefit of replenishing your Healing Surges back to full you need to drink 1 "ration" of water. At the end of each day, if no water "ration" was used you must make a death saving throw. Not sure on starting level, we could do Lvl1, but thought it would be more fun to do Lvl 5. Each player would start with 1 set of Cloth Armor/Common Clothes, and a Holy Symbol. We would do some background stuff and let you create your own district and background for them. I'd throw in some "npc" characters as well to make it more interesting, plus lots of traps, monsters and the works. You could form alliances, or seek certain players out, but only one player will be crowned the winner. Each player would gain exp individually. Let me know if your interested and/or what questions or feedback you have.
