A slight misunderstanding

Since a dev closed the previous post by me, I want to say, here, that i was not in fact asking for help on how to use this site on an unsupported device browser, the help in question was on how to play d&d, and only said i cannot completely use roll 20, well, until i figure out how to with my flash player...but my reply is in fact as to why you closed a topic that only once suggested i don't know how to use this website fully, which will never get my help on the main topic answered as of now. Whoever reads this, i need help on how to play d&d, so please give any advice you can spare...and i ask of the devs, which goes for everyone, not just on roll 20, but every admin or moderator on websites with forums...to please, carefully read a post a few times before closing, deleting, or otherwise preventing the question to be answered, because there's one thing we all have, questions, and a question going un answered is irritating to those of us who relate with the asker, like myself and others who have never played d&d.

Hi, Ishy . Here are some resources that can help get you started on Roll20 and some others that may help point you in the right direction to start learning how to learn D&D. New to Roll20 or RPGs? Need Guidance? Click Here. https://dnd.wizards.com/dungeons-and-dragons/start... D&D on Wikipedia https://www.reddit.com/r/dnd Sometimes it's better to have one thread dedicated to troubleshooting a potential issue, and another for asking questions. I hope this helps.
okay so...what ya mean is that i learn by playing...well then...time to see if my flash player can run a game and let me play, tutorial loaded fine, so it should...i hope
actually, i should see if my char sheet that an app helped me make is good to use
the character sheet app is, on google play, called fifth edition character sheet and the dev is walter kammerer, i have it still because it has a helpful character creator...idk if they'll work though
What system are you wanting to play in? D&D 3.5? D&D 5? Pathfinder?

Ishy, welcome to Roll20. To get kicked off right, I'd suggest watching our introductory video series, Introduction to Tabletop RPGs series , which covers the general idea of how they are played, which game to choose and then find a group of fellow gamers. You say you've gone through our Tutorial which what I would have suggested next. Additionally, starting your own test game to play with the controls is an excellent way of getting used to the software, and you really can't break anything I promise! Thirdly, check out the Looking For Group Tool and Looking for Group Forum daily for games that may be of interest to you. When using the LFG Tool make sure you tick the checkbox for games welcoming new players. We have a wiki that grows weekly and is very much worth exploring. Feel free to ask any questions you have about Roll20 by posting in the various sub-forums on their particular topics (don't stress about putting topics in the right sub-forums, we mods really don't mind moving topics when needed!) Be aware, however, that the forums are devoted to topics revolving around Roll20 itself. As the Code of Conduct says: Intended Use The Roll20 Forums exist to discuss topics directly related to the use of the Roll20 program. Anything that more fittingly could be discussed on another website SHOULD be discussed there. That means topics such as learning how to play a particular RPG and the rules of RPG systems are better handled in places like http://rpg.stackexchange.com/ , https://www.reddit.com/r/dnd , and https://www.reddit.com/r/roll20 . For that reason this post is being moved to the Off-Topic locker. I encourage you to make a post in the Looking for Group sub-forum looking for a group to take in a new player, and any questions you have about the Roll20 software will be gladly answered on our forums. I wish you luck in finding games to play in and enjoying the hobby we share. Happy gaming!
