I'm wondering about purchasing a leather bound book with blank pages.  The entire book needs to be fire resistiant, as it's a condition of the holy texts for my God.  Could you give me a price for it so I can arrange to get that much gold? thanks Armand

ooc: The book of Torag is bound in metal and its leather pages are lacquered with a fire resistant formula. This is due to the fact that the book is intended to be read near forges and other places where extreme heat could spark a fire "Its not enchanted, its some sort of fire resistant formula.  Unfortunately the copy I have doesnt have the formula written in it."

GM NOTE:  A typical holy text for an experienced adventuring priest is durable, with a leather cover, chapter illustrations, quality paper; it costs 25 gp and weighs 2 pounds.  To fireproof a text you would need to treat each page with an alchemical reagent similar to fireward gel.  150 gp will cover the cost of such an reagent.
