“This
is a dark age, an age of Daemons and of sorcery. It is an age of battle and
death, and of the coming of the end of worlds. Amidst all of the fire, flame
and fury it is time, too, of mighty heroes, of bold deeds, and great courage.
As the clock of the worlds click and the time of battle draws near, The Empire,
and all life in these worlds, needs heroes like never before.”
Welcome.
I and my group are
currently looking for new players to join our campaign on roll20. The Group
uses Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay second edition rules as the system, with
inclusion of books from Warhammer 40k, which are provided for free through this
dropbox link ( link removed- roll20 mod )
Note that even with the
link the collection on books is not complete, such as the old world armoury
which is hard to get a PDF of. Skype is also needed to be able to inform you
quickly of information.

Are you More Familiar with Warhammer 40k ? There
is something for you as well, using modified ranged weapons from the books to
fit with the lore of 40k, see as abominations from the 41 st millennia
boil over into these worlds, with the hope of technology in the hands of a
xenophiliac Explorator seen as an enemy of the Mechanicus and the Imperium for
his use of Xeno tech, trapped in another world after a malfunction in the warp
drives of the oddly named ship that was used once by a rogue trader, The Hot
Tub Time Machine.
"Behind every man is another man with a big
sword"
Campaign Summary:
Focused on Markus Wilhelm von Elbel, a general of the
empire and his army as they struggle during a turbulent era against the
invaders of Chaos in Nordland. He hires a group of mercenaries to eradicate the
enemies of man, only to find a portal to be created that leads to a very
different world, outside of any world they have ever encountered.
Finding the barbaric Warriors of Chaos roaming in the
new founded land called Ylisse, Markus and his army does their best to fight
them off. They are joined by Prince Chrom of the Halidom of Ylisse and his
companions. With the two forces fighting off to stop The Northman, their enemy
only grows stronger with the discovery of the Fire Emblem by vile ratmen, the
Skaven and their under empire, a valued divine item of Ylisse. And in their
most valiant effort, Chrom and his wife died, bringing a new era to Ylisse.
With Chrom's death, Markus, a newly appointed
Electoral Count, vows to rise up and eliminate all those who stand in the way
of the Empire and the land Nuland, formerly Ylisse and a kingdom by the name of
Plegia token over in conflict 2 years ago, and 4 years by the Imperial Calender.
With the help of his mercenary companions and the Nuland Guard, will the world
be doomed to destruction, or will inevitability of entropy be averted once more?

FAQ:
Q. I lived under a rock my entire life, what is Warhammer 40,000,
Fire Emblem, or Warhammer Fantasy?
To save a long winded
explanation here are the Wikipedia entries on all of them:
<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warhammer_40,000" rel="nofollow">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warhammer_40,000</a>
<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warhammer_Fantasy_Battle" rel="nofollow">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warhammer_Fantasy_Battle</a>
<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fire_Emblem" rel="nofollow">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fire_Emblem</a>
I am also happy to
answer questions over PM as well.
Q. What if I want to learn more about the universes?
I would Direct you to
their Lexicannum sites, and Wikies respectively, here are the web sites, though
for fantasy ignore anything that involves Age of Sigmar:
<a href="http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Main_Page" rel="nofollow">http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Main_Page</a>
<a href="http://whfb.lexicanum.com/wiki/Main_Page" rel="nofollow">http://whfb.lexicanum.com/wiki/Main_Page</a>
<a href="http://fireemblem.wikia.com/wiki/Fire_Emblem_Wikia" rel="nofollow">http://fireemblem.wikia.com/wiki/Fire_Emblem_Wikia</a>
I do implore you to
find your own sites, and contribute to each series as well, expect Age of
Sigmar, for that is a shoddy product.
Q. What kind of character am I allowed?
A Human character, Dwarf
character, Elf character (wood elf or high elf), or a Halfling character. Since
the group has already been in the middle of a campaign for some time, you would
be elevated to equal level they are to ensure you are not weaker than the foes
you are fighting.
Q. What time and day of the week are sessions normally held?
On Saturdays at 18:00
EST, once a week, this can change if there is a failure of attendance, but the general
goal is one session a week
