Hmm, I suppose I could contact Orr about assets they might need but I think its generally held that the free-art packs they offer is more an opportunity for roll20-marketeers than anything they need. If you have something more specific in mind, let me know. But as that's being figured out. Let me post a bit of information about the Ars Magica sheet. Here is a direct link the standard print-fillout character sheet that is on the atlas site. http://www.atlas-games.com/pdf_storage/ArM5Charshe... I'm just going to go through the sheet and each of the parts as how I see the sheet working for authors interested. Character - Fillable Player - Fillable Saga - Fillable Setting - Fillable/Might be a drop down but fillable would be more flexible Current Year - Fillable Covenant - Fillable Age & Size - Fillable Confidence needs two form-fillable fields, the first field should be the 'Confidence Score' and a number in parenthesis next to it show 'Confidence Points'. ex. Confidence 1 (3) Both Aging and Warping should be moved into a less-used part of the character sheet. They really aren't front-page sort of stats. I'll explain them later. Box beginning with " Birth Name .." - All form-fillable Characteristics Description fields should be form-fillable. Similar to D&D's ability scores, characteristics have an underlying weighted point-buy, as described by the table below. Score Cost +3 6 +2 3 +1 1 0 0 -1 Gain 1 -2 Gain 3 -3 Gain 6 Generally all characters have a point-total of 7 to spend on Characteristics, modified by Virtues. It might be enough to expose the number of points spent on Characteristics and then have a Modifier column so that players can fill out any virtue augmentations. Abilities Ars Magica uses an experience track to increase Abilities. The formula to raise your Ability level to the next is: Next-Level*5. So to raise from Level-0 to Level-1 requires 5 experience points and to raise from Level-4 to Level-5 requires 25 experience points. Note that experience is cumulative, so that if you are exactly Level-5 in an ability, you will have 75 experience points invested. An Ability-level ranges from 0-20, and the Ability list is expandable. Different characters may have smaller or larger lists, an Ability-list anywhere between 7 to 16 different Abilities is normal. It would be good if the Experience field auto-calced the Ability Score . Both Ability and Specialty should be form-fill. There should be a checkmark field next to each Ability to determine if the Ability is a 'Favored Ability'. Favored Abilities increase by a different experience track, exactly the same as Arts which I'll describe later. I'm including the experience table for you to reference. Score Total Experience 1 5 2 15 3 30 4 50 5 75 6 105 7 140 8 180 9 225 10 275 11 330 12 390 13 455 14 525 15 600 16 680 17 765 18 855 19 950 20 1050 Virtues & Flaws A character may have a number of Virtues & Flaws generally ranging from three to a dozen. Each Virtue or Flaw is worth a number of points depending on if they are Free (0), Major (3), or Minor (1). The total points you have in Virtues must be equal the points of Flaws. The total number of points in each half should be revealed and drop-downs would be appropriate to mark each Virtue/Flaw as one of the three super categories. In addition to the Free/Major/Minor drop-down for each item, there should be a second drop-down for each item. Each Virtue/Flaw can fit into one of four categories: Hermetic, Supernatural, Social Status, or General. There are also Virtue/Flaw items that can be added that are considered Minor/Major but are added as free. If it doesn't look too ugly, a check-mark or something similar to overwrite their point-value to 0 would be good. It would be useful if each item had ability to expand a description field as an option; as some require the player to write in some specific details, (ie. having Faerie Blood would require you to note your parentage and breed of fae) Personality Traits Both the list items and their scores are fine as form-fills. Reputations Reputation items and Type are form-fills. Reputation score should be entered as an experience total, using the same experience-track as Abilities, which should output a Score . Combat Armor Worn & Combat Modifiers can be a long text form-fill. Soak is a form-fill. Armor Load is a form-fill (variable). Fatigue Levels Fatigue levels can be short term or longer term. If doable, it would be nice if it did something similar to World of Darkness sheets where clicking the boxes switches between empty, half-filled, to full-filled. Wounds Range is a number fill, usually with something like "5-10", each box at a wound level accumulates that number of penalties, which should be revealed as a Wound Total. So that if you have two Light Wounds and a Medium Wound, it should be exposed that you have a Wound Penalty total of 5. Weapons Form-fill weapon items (ie. "Sword") and a bunch of form-fills that should auto calc to figure out the INIT, ATK, DFN, and DAM totals. The formula ought to also include the Wound Penalty in the INIT, ATK, and DFN (but not DAM) totals. Both Weapon Load(variable) and Range are fills. Equipment A fill block of list items, though each list item should have a box for Load. Encumbrance should also be included here, Encumbrance is calculated in two stages: as total load (combining Armor, Weapon, and Equipment loads) which is then translated into something called Burden which has its own advancement table as below (round up to the next burden total): Total Load Burden 0 0 1 1 3 2 6 3 10 4 15 5 21 6 28 7 36 8 45 9 55 10 The Burden score is compared to the character's positive strength (if any). The final Encumbrance score is equal to the amount of Burden that exceeds the character's positive Strength score. (ex. If a character has a Burden of two and a Strength of 1, he will have an Encumberance of 1). Decrepitude Decrepitude should have a number of fills for each Characteristic (Intelligence, Perception, etc) where a player can type in Aging points . Decrepitude can be an entered experience total (With an actual Decrepitude Score calculated at a rate like Ability leveling). Effects of Aging are just fillable list items. Warping Warping is entered as an experience total (With an actual Warping Score calculated at a rate like Ability leveling). Effects of Warping are just fillable list items. Character Bits House, Covenant, Wizard's Sigil are all form fills. Wizard's Sigil should have a couple lines more than the others. Magical Arts Each Magical Art is entered as an experience total and the score is auto-calced. The formula to increase an Art to the next level is simply the value of the next level. (ie. To increase from score 0 to score 1 requires 1 experience point. To increase a score of 10 to score 11 requires 11 experience points.) As like Abilities, experience is cumulative. I've included a table so you can easily reference it. Score Total Experience 1 1 2 3 3 6 4 10 5 15 6 21 7 28 8 36 9 45 10 55 11 66 12 78 13 91 14 105 15 120 16 136 17 153 18 171 19 190 20 210 Base Casting Totals This section is mostly reminder text and some auto-calcs that are useful to the player. This section is strictly-optional dependent on how the roll20 sheet looks. Lab This is simply a useful auto-calc line for the player, and really should be expanded to include the standard Casting Total. Technique should be a drop-down that grabs from the players score of (Creo, Intellego, Muto, Perdo, or Rego) Form should be a drop down that grabs the player's score of (Animal, Aquam, Auram, Corpus, Herbam, Ignem, Imaginem, Mentem, Terram, or Vim) Int should be from the player's Characteristic Score Theory refers to the character's Magic Theory Ability but can be left as a number fillable by the player. Aura likewise can be left as a number fill. Lab Total is simply the totaling of the values. In addition, the Lab Total should include a value for Miscellaneous modifiers. These should be broken out into a list, where the player can fill out a short description and the bonus value, which gets totaled up and injected into the Lab Total. It would be nice to include the Casting Total which is a similar formula. The difference is that instead of Int , the formula uses Sta . And It does not include any Magic Theory . Raw Vis Not an especially useful section, players can incorporate it into their general equipment. Familiar Think all of these can be simple form fills Spells Form and Technique should be drop downs (list similar to Lab/Casting Totals). Everything else can be form fills.
