Your session has expired whileworking on stuff

This just happened while I was actively uploading images and working on a deck of cards. Now I can start all over as nothing has been saved and the deck was not open anymore upon reload although I never closed it. Basically, I can delete the mess AND everything I uploaded to be able to correctly assign in again. Is there a way to prevent this? How often do sessions expire?

Hi Grimtina, while I've never experienced this issue while active in a session I have on occasion left my machine up and running with a game window open. The next day it will likely display the 'session has expired, refresh to blah blah' message which I always took to mean that the system looks for inactive 'active' sessions (if that makes sense) and suspends them to reduce the server load or some such techie stuff? As this has never happened to me while being actually active I have requested clarification on the systems management of session expiry, once they've heard the morning birdsong and had that all important first coffee/tea/hot beverage of choice of the day I'm sure they'll be along to explain things better than I ever could.

Your session expires after 24 hours.  I suppose if you want to keep editing for longer than 24 hours straight all you have to do is reload at least once in there and you get a new session. That said, it shouldn't in theory cause you to lose any work...like, maybe if you were right in the middle of an upload that exact upload might not finish, but if you were in the middle of building a deck I think everything you had done til that point should still be there. What's the link to the Game where this happened? I can take a look and see if I notice anything odd.
