D&D Themed M&M game. (LFGM)

Greetings Ladies, Gentlemen... and Sentient Gerbils, a couple friends and I have been itching to play a good game of M&M with a couple of character's we've had in mind. Now we aren't asking for much, a 150pp game of M&M in a somewhat generic  D&D-esque fantasy setting  further influence  can be discussed once we've found a GM and maybe one or two more players. Day and time are somewhat flexible, and up for discussion.  If you are interested shoot me a PM or make a post.
You should also mention what method you'd prefer to have the game run in (text, video or voice). If it's text, you could count me in as a potential player, though an idea of what times are best would be helpful.

Well, times are flexible, so it's up for discussion and negotiation. However Mondays and Thursdays are right out to start with. As for how it's run, voice it preferred.
I know I am in!
I am thinking of playing either a dragon-blooded pyrokinetic brawler with super strength or a rapier-wielding ice sorceress! I am actually super excited by the possibilities of using the M&M system to portray D&D characters--you can finally take your fantasy hero and have them accomplish truly uber-powerful feats of amazingness!!! :D
...Come on, no bites yet?  There is so much that can be done with the concept... Think Conan, Red Sonja, the D&D comics... Or hell, Eberron is basically made for superheroes...   There are so many fantasy comics, it's not unheard of... Or maybe fantasy heroes transported into a modernish setting, kinda like fables mixed with buffy and special unit 2?
Just so this doesn't fall into obscurity, and because we are still looking... bump.
Eh, we could use one more... maybe.... depends on what the other two think. Still, we mainly need a GM.... Which is about as rare as  a living T-Rex apparently....

What time and timezone would this be? Also, which edition of m&m?

Well, the easiest would be at around 6pm CST, but as previously stated, our times are rather flexible so we might be able to accommodate other times. As for edition, I am most knowledgeable about 3rd, but my friend has played and has knowledge of all 3 editions.
That'd be about midnight for me. If it was at least 11 hours earlier, which is a bit much to ask in my opinion, I could have a go at GMing (I've only GMed pathfinder before, but I'm familiar with M&M).

That wouldn't be horrible actually, one of my friends is wanting to play a game earlier in the day. Like I said, flexible.

If I did run a game, I would like no more than 5 players and to use the following houserules:  - Presence gives you a social or luck based advantage each rank. Since you can't have negative advantages, a negative Presence only gives 1pp per rank. - Language advantage gives understanding of idioms and double entendre (etc) commonly found in that language, comprehend languages power does not. - generic skill with a type (close/ranged) can't be less than 1/3rd your specific weapon skill. ie you're really good with a sword, so you have 15 close combat (swords) skill, but you're not completely useless with everything else, so you have at least 5 of that come from either the Close Attack advantage (or from Ability scores). And I suppose since Vehicles are pretty rare in a dnd-esque fantasy setting, perhaps Vehicles should be replaced with something like a Ride/HandleAnimals skills, or something. If you're all OK with these, make a character at PL10/150pp (preferably on a easily accessed cloud service, such as myth weavers or google docs, since roll20 can be a pain to load character sheets in my experience), preferably not trying to break/win the game too much. Magic should be considered a common power descriptor, with arcane and divine being one step less common.

Right, I'll have everyone take a look and if the other two agree then we have a gm and you have some players... However it might be a couple hours to get a response from everyone. Either way, the next post I make here will either be about me continuing the search or closing the thread since we found our GM, hopefully it will be the latter.
Right, my friends have taken a look at it, and they have would rather not play with those rules in place.... So, I'm gonna have to turn you down... sorry. That said, it means we're still looking for a GM...  And they have changed their mind a bit, they are now excepting and feeling for more of a RWBY type game as either a addition or alternate theme instead of the D&D theme... So if one of the wonderful mod's on this site could possibly alter the name of my thread to add /RWBY-esque as well after 'Themed' to better reflect what type of game we are looking for, I would be ever so grateful.
Fair enough. Good luck finding a GM that suits your wishes.
