Is there a way to elegantly code Damage Rolls of 1 Become 2 (Elemental Adept Feat in 5E)

Is there an elegant shortcut for rolling damage for the Elemental Adept feat in 5E (in which all damage rolls of 1 become 2) I found this, Thank you Honey Badger! https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/715648/slug%7D But, that gets a little long with a fireball. Something like this would be great [[8d6m2]]
If you don't need to see the dice on the board, a Rollable Table would work. There's a thread out there about that. Personally, I agree that I'd like it if there were a min-value option in an inline dice roll. (In my games Fine weapons do a min of 2 dmg and Masterwork do a min of 3 dmg, that way I increase avg dmg w/o increasing the ceiling.)
[[ {?{Dice Pool}d6, ?{Dice Pool} * 2 + 0d0}kh1 ]] should work. e.g. Fireball: [[ {8d6, 16 + 0d0}kh1 ]]

In order for it to work properly you really need to do it for each die as they are figured separately like {1d6, 2 + 0d0}kh1. I came up with this, it is long but it works great and lets you select the spell level that you wish to cast the spell. ?{Spell Slot Level|3, [8 dice (lvl 3)] {1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1| 4, [9 dice (lvl 4)] {1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1| 5, [10 dice (lvl 5)] {1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1| 6, [11 dice (lvl 6)] {1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1| 7, [12 dice (lvl 7)] {1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1| 8, [13 dice (lvl 8)] {1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1| 9, [14 dice (lvl 9)] {1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1+{1d6, 2+0d0}kh1 } Put this in place of your damage dice and magic happens.

To get the right distribution, a rollable table is really the easiest way to go. With a pro subscription, you can use my Weighted Dice script to create them: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/950142/script-we... !weighted-die 6 2 creates a rollable table named d6min2 with effectively the following faces: 6 5 4 3 2 2 Then your roll is just: [[8t[d6min2] ]] You can create tables like that without the script, it's just convenience. =D
There you go Aaron with the elegant solution.
Cool, that's a great script!
