Hello All, I used to be a huge fan of Vampire
the Masquerade and ran a game from 1999 – 2002 while I was in the military. For
some reason recently I have gotten an urge to collect the VtM novels, which
then went from me going to a sub reddit, to feeling the urge to play again,
then to finally finding out about this site.
First, I would prefer to play in a
classic VtM game, to get my legs underneath me again and have fun. Second, once
I get my hands on the original source book (or the new 20 th anniversary
one I keep hearing about) I would like to run the game I ran for three years.
It was called “Twin Cities by Night”,
and was more of a darker adult themed game. At the time I was very influenced
by movies such as Eyes Wide Shut, The 9 th Gate, The Hannibal series
and veered away from the Blade type stuff. There was action, but my story was
very…well for lack of a better term…story driven. I had in-depth history (a lot
of it is starting to come back) and am all about character interaction and characters
driving the story.
I’m sure some details I should
provide are missing, but I’ll fill in the blanks when I can. I’m not even sure
if there is a demand for this type of game anymore, but hey, worth a try!
