This is an ongoing event. Explore the mysteries of the dungeon found in a secret underground passage leading into the back of a giant stone marked with strange symbols. Dungeon Rules You may enter and leave the dungeon during any non-combat time or during combat with a total withdraw from the chamber When you enter the dungeon you are removed from phase map until you exit and enter the dungeon map (moved by GM) When you exit you will be placed back on the current ongoing phase map The dungeon is a good way to play more while waiting for a phase to end or during upkeep phase etc. The dungeon will a variety of challenge levels . you may chose to retreat in some places and that is encouraged. When You Cannot Play In The Dungeon Or Need To Leave 1. You are on a mission (especially combat) 2. You are exploring the exploration map 3. You are in an event How The Dungeon Is Played The dungeon is played like a mission and adventure thread. You will post and move your token around the dungeon discovering monsters and finding treasure. Expect to earn 1mp for each chamber cleared and some good treasure. You cannot DIE in the dungeon, you will leave the dungeon and return to town (drug there most likely) You will start back in the dungeon in the beginning should you return. You will, of course, not receive rewards if you die in a dungeon chamber unless you go back and beat it if it was not beaten already. You might die to creatures or traps while exploring the dungeon but it is not an "actual death" it is a RFD (removed from dungeon). If you die you will instead take a negative level. This level can be removed with restoration (1000gp type) What Can You Expect In The Dungeon The further you go the more difficult on average it will be. You will not be expected to tackle every chamber the first time.. some are harder than others You can leave chambers and return to them later .. some must be "completed" to move through them Death is a real possibility but can probably be avoided by playing smart Chambers may/will respawn once cleared after each CYCLE The Dungeon is VAST Who Should Go Into The Dungeon The dungeon can be tackled as a party or alone .. You may bring your cohorts into the dungeon There is no limit to the number of players in the dungeon at a time Players may be split in different chambers clearing multiple chambers with different groups. What if I die in the dungeon? You gain a negative level - For each negative level a creature has, it takes a cumulative –1 penalty on all ability checks, attack rolls, combat maneuver checks, Combat Maneuver Defense, saving throws, and skill checks. In addition, the creature reduces its current and total hit points by 5 for each negative level it possesses. The creature is also treated as one level lower for the purpose of level-dependent variables (such as spellcasting) for each negative level possessed. Spellcasters do not lose any prepared spells or slots as a result of negative levels. If a creature's negative levels equal or exceed its total Hit Dice, it dies. To enter the dungeon - Request here that you enter - A GM will place you in the dungeon map To exit the dungeon - Post that you are leaving - A GM will return you to the phase map
