[LFG] Willing Lab Rats Needed for 5e Homebrew Classes and Archetypes! (Monday Nights EST)

As the title says. I am looking for both players and GMs who would be interested in helping me refine and test a whole slew of Homebrew character options for 5e Dungeons and Dragons, particularly several scratch-built classes with some fairly ambitious mechanics that I want help refining though there also archtypes for existing classes that will be throw into the mix. Right now, all of the homebrew is VERY WIP, so I'm not looking for a game just yet, but I will want one eventually. I am, essentially, looking to make a group for 3 distinct purposes.... Purpose 1) Refine my slow-growing but theoretically massive pile of 5e homebrew. I have ideas. Lots of ideas. I intend to put them all to text and perhaps one day stick them up on a site like DriveThru RPG with no hope of profit just because. However, I'm a LONG way off from that, and while I actually enjoy creating content more then I do actually playing the game(crazy, I know, though I love playing too, don't get me wrong) I sometimes can get...overly ambitious....with my homebrewing and create some real monstrosities from a balance standpoint. So the first point of my little lab rat gaming group would be to help me refine my own homebrew by putting it in front of more eyes and letting you, my lab rats, help me fine-tune it as I build it. Now, while you will get to see the building process for my homebrew, I am distinctly NOT looking for people to make content for me. I will be both making my own content and attempting to balance/fix it on my own. What I am looking for is people to poke holes in it and tell me what's wrong, broke etc.. about it so I can attempt to think up of my own fixes rather than have somebody create content for me. So if you say yes to this little venture, you will be getting google docs given to you every once and while to look at and keep tabs on as I update them. Purpose 2) Refine YOUR homebrew. That's right, this is a give and take service. If your looking for help with your own homebrew I am more than happy to provide the same services I asked of you in purpose 1) and more: if you actually want somebody to create content for you, I am more than happy to get cracking and make whatever homebrew you want a reality! If at all possible, getting together a party of 5e homebrewers who run their stuff by each other and playtest each other's content would be AWESOME, but if it doesn't happen...oh well...I'm not going to be picky, here. Purpose 3) Playtest my homebrew, as well as the homebrew of anybody else in the party. While I don't have the time to dedicate to DMing a full campaign, some one shots I can swing...and if I can kill two birds with one stone and use one shots to test my homebrew...well that's what I call an ideal situation. So if your player who can't seem to find a stable group (story of my life) or have some homebrew you really want to playtest, I will be more than happy to provide one shots to give you a chance to finally play (albeit with the caveat that you may have to use a homebrew option myself or a fellow player created) and/or test your own crazy homebrew alongside mine. While I am ideally looking for players, there are times I may want to play myself, so while this is not mandatory, I will be looking for people who are willing to "rotate" DM duty with me. So if your willing to sometimes DM a one shot or two, know that you will get preferential treatment in the selection process should I get enough interest where I actually need to implement one. Games would be Monday Nights, EST, in a time slot agreed upon by the party members. Monday Nights are really the only time of the week I can gurantee I will be free....life's tough when you work for a megalomaniacal CEO. So, do I have any crazy people who are willing to be my 5e lab rats and, perhaps, test some of their own homebrew on their fellow experimental subjects? If anybody would at all be interested in something like this, please, post here and we can exchange contact info and get a game up!
I think the best way how you can get people for that stuff is if you create one time games (unless you need more feedback then 3h+) and invite some players and ask them how they liked the character that you build for them (include the whole stuff you written here in another shape and form there). I have myself been homebrewing alot (spending hours on my own wizard school to fix and balance it) Disadvantage being that you would have to look for players everytime, but I believe just that people might not look into it if they dont find a story they can play with said character. Of course I could be wrong it is possible if not probably that in time you find the right guys. Another way would be going into Forums with alot of GMs and comunicating with them and allowing them to use your stuff and so on. Just my piece of pie
