Force Players to focus on object/right click

October 20 (12 years ago)
An option to pull all of the player's views to center on an object you've right clicked or simply blank space that you've right clicked would be incredibly useful, for more dramatic point-outs than "over here" with a ping.

Also for big maps that have mostly been Fog of War'd out and the players don't quite start looking at where they should, this would be mighty handy.

If you hold down shift while you ping as GM, the focus is shifted to the location of the ping.

Canso: Fortunately or unfortunately, that is not limited to GMs. Players can do it too.

@Gauss The ping documentation (http://help.roll20.net/tabletop/) seems to suggest that it should only force all players focus when you're the GM, so either that behavior is a bug or the documentation is out of date. Also, you don't need to sign your messages, your name shows up at the top of the post, mere lines above!

Of course I don't need to sign them, but I do anyhow. It is a habit I have from other message boards that I will not modify. Really, I am not a newbie on this. I have a reason for doing it. :)

I see you are correct about ping+shift in that it should not work for players, but it does. I will report it.
