Exporting Chat Log?

Hello, I'm currently GMing a primarily text-based campaign with 6 players. We've been playing for several months and are about 15 sessions in. The entire chat log has become so huge that it freezes my browser for a good two minutes whenever I try to access it. I'd like to clear the chat log before it grows too big for my PC to handle, but I also don't want to get rid of the fun memories our group has made. Is there any way to export a campaign's chat log so I can clear it in peace?

Click file, save as or CTRL + S when you have it open. You can then open it locally as a webpage using any browser.

Great tip HB, never thought of doing that! I personally use cmd+A (ctrl+A for PC folk) to grab it all, then cmd+C to copy it into a rich text based word programme to save it, after a full year of playing it is currently up to about 10mb. I also recommend clearing the chat archive every 2-3 months generally as well to keep loading times down and to prevent the phantom chat archive breaking in game chat bug (dun dun duhhhh)
If I send my players the saved webpage, will all my whispers and GM rolls be visible on their end?
What you see is what you'll be saving, normally;  so yes. When you open the chat log in the Content > Chat Archive menu of the Campaign;  there's a button in the extreme-right corner that allows you to Hide Whispers.
