Kobold Infestation

Kobolds have set up a hold at Issachar's Farm These creatures have come in great numbers and must be rooted out and destroyed Goal: Root out and Destroy Kobolds to earn points Posts: You get one post per time slot.   Location: Phase 5 Event Map Reward: 1 KP, 1 MP, Kobold Treasures Set Up: Place a COPY of your token on Issachar's Farm DURING PHASE 5 Starts: PHASE 5:  Day 13-14 of the Cycle (Friday & Saturday) Prizes: For Event Points - Track Your Points In Your Tokens Blue Circle

Posting in advance in hope of drawing everyone's attention to the event. Day 13: Slot 1: Kellen arrives on the farm from the west entrance looking around he reveals 5 kobolds (perception 35). (try not to reveal so many that we all die :p . these ones will probably not just run away)

Slot 1: I can't believe these vermin have overrun my ranch.   Issachar is fuming when he enters the property.  He immediately spots a kobold (Perception 17). 

Day 1: Slot 1: Raven enters from the north entrance, sees 3 Kobalds. (perception 27 rolled nat 20)  

Day1: Slot 1: Kyros comes to the farm as well, spotting 3 Kobolds. He draws his bow, looking to attack any nearby. ((Perception 27, nat 20.))

Fizziwik, riding in from the south spots 3 kobolds as he pulls up next to Issachar.   Heard you had some kobold troubles, lets see what we can do what that. ((Perception 26:  Mounted combat 28:  I'll track points on Fizzy))

AMY is in CHARGE of this Event THANK YOU AMY!!! There are NO Readied Actions w/ Percpetions   IF you use perception to score points it will be COUNTED as a Standard. Otherwise you may take a readied action as normal if you DID NOT Perceive for points.

NO COHORTS .. ONLY PC'S and what normally comes with them.

Day 1 Slot 1:     Ren arriving on the farm, having heard about the Kobald infestation. At first glance he is able to make out two Kobalds in hiding.  Actions:  Perception - 24 (Reveal 2)

((contingency, since I'm going to be a tad busy for the next slot. Shooting with my longbow, (ranged attack 11, 8 dmg), probably miss.))

D1S1: Eilife arrived from the north. // rolled 19 (forgot to post before going to sleep!) and revealed 1 kobold

The Kobolds take their turn Day 1: Slot 1: 18 kobolds are revealed 1 Kobold slings Kyros for 1 damage, 2 kobolds spear raven for 7 (1 possible crit), 1 spears Lyon for 4, the rest miss 1 Kobold Fighter stabs lyon for 1 with a short sword, the rest miss 1 Kobold Rogue shoots issachar for 1 point of damage, the other 3 miss their attacks

Day 1: Slot 2: Kellen swings twice, killing a regular kobold (15 to hit, 10 damage), and a kobold fighter (21 to hit, flankeing so sneak attack, 18 damage) gathering 4 points in his favor.

D1S2: Ellie, noticing the amount of kobolds gathered around her in ambush, begins chanting and her eyes flicker. // Cast burning disarm on the kobold warrior's sword. DC 15 reflex save to drop weapon, 7 damage if failed.

Is this their grand scheme? You can be farmers little kobolds, but this one is taken. Slot 1 Viggo Perception 14  Spellcaster! Viggo  now looks burnt and wounded. Slot 2 Attack AC 16 for 6 damage vs generic as I didn't realize the rogue was there (dark image). generci dead, points noted - amy

Day 1 slot 2 Prytania arrives late... As usual. She sees the infestation, and rushes to prepare a negative energy burst, which ends up not being too powerful. (Damage roll 5, Will DC15 halves) 3 kobolds killed, points noted- amy

Raven attackes the Kobald in front of him.  (attack roll 11 damage 8)

 what was viggo's attack roll, and which kobold was he attacking. one kobold revealed and activated (uh oh) Revealed Kobold Sorcerer Scorching rayed Viggo Stillson (14 touch hits, 18 damage) three kobolds failed their save against prytania, and died, points have been awarded AOO has been confirmed on the rogue (please post next time) TR's Contingency activates, but misses.

Slot 2: As Fizziwick steps up beside Issachar, three more kobolds rise up as if from nowhere.  Taking a step back, Iss fires his bow as rapidly as possible, killing the rogue, but missing one of the fighters badly. //OOC Rapid Shot Point Blank: Attack 13, 20.  Miss, 5 Damage points noted - amy

(Shield of Faith on self Activates Divine Vessel: Each ally within 15ft gets a +2 bonus on the next attack roll, skill check, or ability check made before the end of their next turn.) Having heard the commotion, Destra strolls up to the chaotic scene, more curious than alarmed. What are these perfidious lizards doing here? What could they possibly want with this patch of dirt? Destra casts a spell and shrugs.

20 minutes until Kobold turn for slot 2, after I post the kobold attacks and such, begin posting for slot 3. i will probably be an hour or so late for the Kobolds turn on slot 3, wait for the Kobold turn to begin posting for slot 4

Day 1: Slot 2: Kobold's Turn No new kobolds were revealed Generics: 1 speared eillife for 2, one speared raven for 1, 1 speared Ren for 4 Rogues: most missed, but the one fighting ren almost crit , dealing 8 points of damage. Fighters: two fighters each hit gerty for 1, and the other two missed. Sorcerer: Burning handsed Viggo and Destra for 15, but they both saved for half (7)

Day 1: Slot 3: Kellen's turn Kellen uses an ability! (offensive roll) he moves up to the sorcerer , dodging an AOO, barely making the 18 acrobatics, and then stabbing it in the back for 28 damage! 4 points awarded, turn over. have fun in slot 3 boys and girls

Day 1 Slot 3:  Issachar sees the Kobolds focusing on the Gecko steps closer to the fray, firing off two arrows at the closest kobold.  The second splits the first as they both find the creature's heart. /ooc Point Blank Rapid Shot Attack 26, 20 for damage 10,9.  Dead Kobold fighter. points noted - amy

Day 1 Slot 3 Prytania keeps walking as she unleashes a stronger wave (OOC: 8 damage, will DC 15) 1 kobold fighter killed, points noted -amy

Viggo ignores the pain and walks right around a kobold and then stabs it in the face. Good assist Ren  You little dog lizard, are you even smart enough to run a farm? Viggo taunts the rogue a second time, insulting it's parents, children, and way of life all at once. Viggo assumes it doesn't know common and tries to get his point across in other ways. Hit AC 15 for 7 damage, Kobold generic fails miserably in its AoO attack. Uses stamina to increase attack roll by 1 and AC by 1 generic kobold dead, point noted - amy

Raven spinning on his heal, turns around and cleaves the one behind him trying to sneak up on him. (attack 22 damage 10) points noted - amy

(Casts Inflict Light Wounds spontaneously, rolls [6] for touch attack) Destra chants and casts a spell as she moves to silence a nearby kobold. She can't quite get her hand on the crafty lizard.

Zordlon -hearing about the kill fest- finally gets to the fight and looks for kobalds that are you know.... not already dead spotting 3 (perception 26) points noted - amy

Kyros takes another uneasy aim at one of the kobolds, his arrow flying harmlessly past it. Cursing, he moves a bit closer to Prytania, getting another arrow. ((Shot at the lone generic, [9] misses. Moved closer))

Fizzywik looks about for some more kobolds as he moves Gerty to create a barrier between himself and Iss.  Seeing none, he prepares for the attack. ((OOC: Perception 13, Mounted Combat 23))

Day 2 Slot 1: Issachar steps to the side of Gerty, shooting the kobold behind her with two arrows. //ooc Attack 24, 20, damage 10,9... dead kobold fighter points noted, also please read my last few post. kobolds didnt get their third slot until after you attacked, im giving it a free swing back at you, not that it hit either way :p - amy

Day 1: Slot 3: Kobold's turn 3 new generic kobolds arrive Generic: one stabs Revan for 4, one slings Zordlon for 2 Rogues: 1 crits prytania for 4 with a shortbow,  fighters: 1 hits ren for 1 damage

Day 2: Slot 1: Kellen's turn Kellen uses acrobatics to get away from the kobold without an attack (24) he then percieves 6 more kobolds! (41, spending 1 Ki for +4) egad! good luck everyone!

Fizziwik nudges Gerty into a charge and smashes his lance into a kobold in the middle of the field, dealing lethal damage.  He then surveys the field, looking for his next target. ((attack of 17 hits for 14 damage:  Mounted combat: 25))  Points noted - amy

Kyros takes better aim and shoots at the generic kobold trying to sneak away by the house, then moves closer to the intersection, trying to get a better view. ((attack of 14 for 4 damage))

Destra tries to discharge her spell into the perfidious kobold but misses [10] once again.

Day 2 slot 1 Prytania starts casting summon monster II, an arrow hits her, but she manages to ignore it for a bit (OOC Concentration check: 21)

Zordlon attempts to stab the kobald rogue and misses pretty definetivly (rolled a nat 2.)

Slot 1 Flanks with Ren, slaying the elusive rogue kobold. 18 to hit, 9 damage points noted- amy

Day 2 slot 2 (I have to go for a few hours, so I'm posting in advance) Prytania unleashes her 1-eagle-army (again...) it rushes at it's nearest target. after it's finished, she uses bleeding touch on the kobold rogue. Actions: Prytania - summon 1 eagle, attack roll 21, damage 3 (and it's bleeding for x rounds) Eagle full attack onto a kobold, attack rolls 20,11,6 - and hits for 1damage (with the 20, I assume the rest fail) eagles dont have pounce, but the first attack hit either way point noted - amy

Day 2 Slot 2 Fizziwik is scanning the field, feeling that everyone has their sections under control when he hears Kellen hollering that theres a bunch in the workshop.  Seeing one still standing within the range of his lance, he lowers the point and stabs it through the heart. ((27 to attack the fighter behind ren for 14 damage;  Mounted combat: 15 )) points noted - amy

Zordlon seeing the kobald he tried to kill is dead flanks the nearest kobald..... and impales it for serious damage. (aoo for generic kobald. hit with a 26 crit missed confirm with a 9. 12 damage) points noted - amy

Day 2: Slot 2: Kobolds finally wake up! six of them jump kellen in the house, while others attmept to attack people from afar! it seems the kobolds have run out of reinforcements ! finish them off! regulars: 1 stabs kellen for 1 fighters : obviously worse than regular guys Rogues: the only rogue left does roguish things

Day 2: Slot 2: Kellen swings twice, killing a warrior and a generic kobold. (26 to hit warrior, 16 to hit regular for 12 damage each)

Slot 2 Charges the brave kobold blocking the door, swinging high Viggo manages to just miss. attack only hits AC 11  for 9 damage that does not happen

Day 2: Slot2: Kyros repositions slightly, after seeing his previous target fall, and shoots the kobold near the well. ((15 to hit, 7 damage.))

Issachar, seeing no more kobolds in range, looks around for another one to attack.  He sees on peeking out of the back door of his house, draws his sword, and charges.  His vicious swing splits the creature from crown to toes and Issachar spins on his heel looking for more kobolds. //ooc Drop bow, draw ECB charge.  Attack 29, Crit Confirm 22, 13 Damage, kobold dead.
