High-Pitched Helium voice using in-browser voice chat

Inexplicably since last week, whenever I try to communicate with anyone on my Roll20 campaign, i am informed my voice is incredibly high pitched. It is so high pitched that i am nearly incomprehensible and playing with that for communication is impossible, forcing us onto other services like Skype or Mumble. Ive tried different headsets, and different microphones, but the problem persists. None of my friends have the issue except when communicating with me. Any advice?
Don't play as a gnome?  :D

I'm sorry you're having trouble with the site. Please view and follow all of the instructions on the Audio Visual Troubleshooting wiki page, it should help you. Had this issue today. My friend came in sounding like an ewok. He switched his browser from firefox to chrome and that fixed the problem.
I have the problem only when using the Sony Pulse PS3 Headphones. When i use the incorporated mic in the laptop it works fine. And in Chrome everything works fine but the 5e Character Sheet is a mess in Chrome.
