Only Plus and Pro subscribers can make their games visible to the public ; by default a link such as https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/xxxxx/yyyyy ... is only visible to players already invited to the game. The best way to handle this situation is to create a Looking for Group listing ; even if you do not enable it for viewing in the LFG Directory you can share the link with others and have a separate Listing Discussion forum just for those potentially interested in your game. As a bonus, anyone who posts to your game's Listing Discussion forum will have a big blue button by their username and all a GM has to is click 'Invite to Game' and an invitation will be sent their way. I hope this helps, happy gaming! :)
I appricate the info but why did this change? Before we had the opertunity to make new friends and find new without this. Really a bad way to get people in your games or get people interested in Roll 20

Games have always been private by default and it wasn't until the Rugged Reroll update of December 16, 2013 that subscribers were given the ability to make their games public. I'm sorry for any confusion; if you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to post in the various sub-forums . Good luck recruiting!
yeah but I could post in Find a Group before and can't seem to do that anymore.
You're confusing linking to your private campaign area and an actual LFG listing. You've never been able to open your campaign forums and such up to the public. Go to your campaign page, click the Looking for Players button and create a listing. That link created there, will be what you share in the LFG forums.

As HoneyBadger says, and I said above: The best way to handle this situation is to create a Looking for Group listing ; even if you do not enable it for viewing in the LFG Directory you can share the link with others and have a separate Listing Discussion forum just for those potentially interested in your game. As this has headed more for 'Specific Use Questions' than 'LFG', I've gone ahead and moved it. We look forward to seeing your advertisement in LFG soon. If you've any questions on the process of creating a LFG entry, after you've read the HowTo (in my links), don't be afraid to ask! Happy gaming!
