You won't see a traditional eraser tool like in MSPaint or Photoshop. The drawings made in Roll20 are vector based. To get them off the tabletop, you need to select them and delete them or the GM clean sweeps the board.
As I recently reported, deleting drawings does not work except for freehand. I think this is why an erase tool is being asked for.
When they fix deleting drawings for players then erase will be as Kristin stated.

Make sure your on the right Layer. Click the drawing you made. I often use circles to show effect of a spell. Click on the image. Hit delete. Worked this week end.
