I’m getting a !! explosion bug (Compounding Exploding Dice)

Bug Description:

When using the double exclamation mark function (xDy!!) the roll doesn't keep exploding after the second max roll. I.E it rolled a /r 1D6!! and got a 6 then re-rolled another 6 for a 12. It stops rolling at that point instead of continuing to explode. It should be impossible for a /r 1D6!! to return a result of 12. I get this bug with both 3D dice and regular.

The help text for Compounding Exploding Dice makes me believe this isn't as intended. The last line says the rolls could potentially be infinite:
Shadowrun (and some other systems) use a special style of exploding dice where the the additional rolls for each dice are added together as a single "roll". To do this, just use two exclamation marks instead of one. So for example to roll 5 d6's, you would do /roll 5d6!!. A common Shadowrun roll would be exploding dice compared to a target number, for example /roll 5d6!!>8. Even though the target number (8) is higher than the possible roll from a single dice, with the compounding exploding rolls a single roll can be infinitely high!

Steps to Reproduce the Problem:
I’m getting this max with all forms of dice. /roll xDy!!

Thanks for the report. I've forwarded it over to the devs.

I've noticed the same problem. In all cases where a d6 explodes, 12s should be impossible, as it should automatically go up to the next tier (13-17, then again explode)
In systems like Shadowrun where a target number of 24 is not unheard of, it's good to have our dice reflect this.

Aha! So it's not just me going crazy! Any word on fixing this? I was trying to get macros for L5R going and I can confirm it doesn't just do this for d6, but for dice with any number of sides that I've tried.

We're in the process of getting ready a BIG overhaul to all our dice mechanics. I think this will be addressed, but keep us posted after the update if this is still an issue.

I got an input to fix the text on the help section for that one, but I guess I'll make a new thread :-) Also, if the issue pervails, maybe putting 1D6!!>6 may help? that works for me, getting 17 and even above 30 (just testing hundreds of times) never got 12.
