Looking for 2-3 more people for 5e D&D

I am looking to find a few more people to join our group. We will be hosting the session Saturday 8:00pm Est. Let me know if your interested. Have you played D&D? if yes how experienced if no what similar experiences do you have Why do you wish to play D&D? What kind of character would you like to be playing? Have you played D&D? No, I do not have any experience with D&D. I've been looking to get into it for a few years, but finding a group of people to play with is hard. Recently joined the army so i'm stuck over here in korea and havent had any luck finding a group. Why do you wish to play D&D? The whole aspect of roleplaying and the battling seems really fun and interesting to me. I feel like its a create your own story and a game at the same time. What kind of character would you like to be playing? I want to play a Paladin i've always liked paladin in WoW and stuff. Whats your schedule like? Looking to play anytime fri nights sat anytime and sunday anytime. I'm in korea so my timezone is GMT +9 so see if that works for you guys Additional information : I'm really looking for a solid group of good people to get together with every week and have some fun. Hopefully you'll let a new guy try out.

Have you played D&D? Yes, lots. Lots of earlier stuff (most editions up to 3.5) and now just getting into 5e. Huge fan and follower of Critical Role and Acquisitions Inc, so am as much into watching as well as I am playing. Why do you wish to play D&D? I am a fan of the freedom a good GM will give to allow you to create and interact with the world as you like. That and I like a good giggle! What kind of character would you like to be playing? Always open to trying anything to be honest. I am currently enjoying playing a drunken monk and have recently taken an interest in the Warlock class, having just created a half-elf Warlock I want to have a bit of fun with. What about D&D interests you? I am a huge fan of the stories. I enjoy being part of epic adventures and stories crafted by myself and others. Whats your schedule like? Very flexable, though I would much prefer evening GMT games. Additional information : I have a 34" leg measurement.

What kind of character would you like to be playing?:  I usually fill whatever role is missing, ranger/rogue/warrior default. What about D&D interests you?:  I like the endless possibilities and the unique ways situations can be overcome. What's your schedule like?:  I am very open right now, between contracts. Additional information:  I am a biologist.

Have you played D&D?: Yes, i have.. sort of. i've attempted joining a few campaigns as well as starting some with friends, but all have fell through for one reason or another. Trying to play D&D so far has been like having an itch i'm just never able to scratch. Why do you wish to play D&D?: The sheer scope of possibilities in D&D is my biggest draw to it. There's so much potential just sitting there. the characters you can make, worlds to explore. I've found it fascinating for a very long time, and always wanted to give it a proper go. What kind of character would you like to be playing?: The characters i've thought up (haven't really had chances to play them yet) are generally on the "weird" side. This is mostly because i like the odd, cooky concepts, since they are more likely to last on the entertainment side for a long campaign. Currently i've been desperately wanting to try a Human Monk (Way of Shadow (as a side note: I have almost never seen anyone want to play a Way of Shadow Monk. Am i missing something about them?)) with a double-life story concept. What about D&D interests you?: I kind of wrapped this answer into question 2's answer. I really, really want to experience all of these moments i've only been able to watch (streams, youtube, etc.) or read about (LOTS of forum browsing). the good ones, and the bad. What's your schedule like?: sadly, my schedule won't be the most flexible thing until the end of march, as i'm about to enter trade school, and i'll be bogged with homework on every weekday, and most likely the ass-end of every weekend. This will change at the end of April, when school's over. Until then, Saturdays, or early Sundays will be all i'm capable of. Additional information:  i'm a sarcastic ass of a tradesman, with weird ideas, and the innate ability to miss the obvious details. one question: is this planned to be using video/voice, or text?

Have you played D&D? Yes, I started playing D&D about 5 years ago, none of my campaigns have lasted longer than 6 months, sadly. Why do you wish to play D&D?  I would like to play because being a hero in a world that is just for us is great. Playing make believe as an adult is something that is typically pretty hard to come by.  What kind of character would you like to be playing?  I would want to be a circle of the moon druid, because animals and stuff (I played one in 3.5 where they were completely different), I'd also be happy with a rouge, wizard, or really anything that isn't unintelligent, a barb, or evil. What about D&D interests you? I enjoy most the being able to do anything, being a hero in a world that is every changing. I find playing the character more entertaining than min/maxing a character. Combat is pretty good, especially if the battles aren't just charge and fight, having to have a strategy, or use terrain. I do prefer a good story to a dungeon crawler, though. Whats your schedule like?  Right now, my schedule is pretty open. Sundays and Wednesdays are typically busy. Additional information :  I play the guitar, like most other people. I own the PHB for 5e. I have 6 character sheets in a folder on my desk for "just in case."

Have you played D&D?  I have only been in a couple campaigns for far, one in 3.5e lasting almost 2 years and another in Pathfinder lasting 6 months. I have only played campaigns in person so far and am new to Roll20. Why do you wish to play D&D? I enjoy the role-play, getting a chance to try and view situations from a unique perspective of the character. I also like the combat aspect of the game and using tactics to overcome various obstacles. What kind of character would you like to be playing? I have played mostly rogues so far. As far as combat, I focused on either archery or maneuvering around the battlefield to gain an advantage in combat. Although I have played some shorter games where I varied my class choices and I would have no issue playing a different role. As far as roleplaying It depends on the character I make. I have had a Kobold that strived to lift its race from being insignificant to one of the main races in power. Another character I have played was a Halfling that originally was only interested in furthering himself and looking out for his own interests, but overtime built up a relation with the other members of the party and worked to build synergy within the group and help keep them alive. What about D&D interests you? I enjoy both combat and role-play equally. I have no issue if in a session there is no combat and it is all diplomacy or skill checks. Inversely if a session becomes nothing more than a hack and slash that too is fine. As far as characters go I love creating them and give them a history that shapes who they are and governs their decision making. I also enjoy making worlds or locations that can become interesting settings for events or to just explore. What's your schedule like? I am available anytime before 10:00 AM PST and after 8:00 PM PST, although on Wednesdays and Thursdays I am available most of the day  . Additional information :  I like to draw or 3d model various things from campaigns.
