Hello all! I am aware there is a shortage of DMs running around here but I would very much love to get into a campaign (preferably a new one, though I'll consider something already started). I would like it to be a long-term campaign, no one-shots please. Edition is not an issue for me (I am mostly a blank slate in that regard), as long as the players and DM are willing to help me along with character creation/playing, etc. I am available after 7 PST on Mondays and Tuesdays (for about 3-5 hours depending), for the time being, but I'm willing to change my availability at work if I can find the right group. I would like at least a 50/50 split of rp:combat, but I think I'll prefer to lean more to the RP side. I don't want just a dungeon crawl. I sort of have some experience with table top gaming but not a lot in proper D&D, so please be patient; I understand the theories but I just haven't put anything into practice. I have been watching a lot of videos over the years (Dawnforgedcast, Critical Role, etc) and I have wanted to get into a game for a while. Unfortunately there are no open groups in my local area.. A bit about me, I suppose. I'm almost 24 and I live in BC, Canada. I work part time, so my schedule is usually fairly open (though not when everyone else seems to do their games lol) I love to play video games and I participate in play-by-post forum role plays. I would love to try out a Halfling Druid or a Paladin of some race if at all possible, though I am willing to fill any role if the party needs it. Thanks, Britters~
