
I was thinking of trying to play a turn-based strategy game on this site, and dynamic lighting is great for fog of war in a strategy game. Though some tweaks would make it perfect:
Allow the background layer to be visible, but grayed out, with no tokens visible. Once a token illuminates an area, all tokens in the area are shown.
Have an additional illumination method, where instead of the circle, you instead have a number of squares (or hexes) that are shown, and no squares are partially shown.
