Dynamic Lighting Idea

I was thinking of trying to play a turn-based strategy game on this site, and dynamic lighting is great for fog of war in a strategy game. Though some tweaks would make it perfect: Allow the background layer to be visible, but grayed out, with no tokens visible. Once a token illuminates an area, all tokens in the area are shown. Have an additional illumination method, where instead of the circle, you instead have a number of squares (or hexes) that are shown, and no squares are partially shown.

I was going to try and make something similar to Advance Wars. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advance_Wars I had some ideas for new units, and a new map type.

Ahh, I don't know that one. In addition to various RPGs I play Star Fleet Battles, Battletech, and (ages ago) Warhammer FB (5th edition). Most people do not like the first two that much. :) - Gauss
Yeah, it was a game for the Game Boy Advance, it had sequels for the Gameboy Advance and Nintendo DS.
