Questing

Sword and Sorcery Online is a turned based strategy game but the GM of an SSO campaign on Roll20 has the option of Quests in their game. This allows characters and characters only to go on Quests for treasure. The dungeons can be whatever the GM chooses to create. Each Quest card has a level which is also the number of hexes listed on the card. On one of these hexes is the dungeon and all the others are just false leads. I expanded the rules of the game so that D&D and Pathfinder RPG characters can be directly imported into SSO. The Quest cards can be given to the players by the GM and be as treasure in the dungeons. A good idea is to have the higher level Quests as cards in lower level dungeons creating a line of questing leading to some goal. The basic treasure is power in the form of iron ingots and gold. The amount should be based on the average power and/or gold income for the players. A Mana card gives out the Mana crystals, Mana shards, Mystic gems, and Eldritch jewels. Spells cards give out spells and the same for Ki power cards. There's a card for magic items and a card for Talismans of Orb , the most powerful magic items in the game. Lastly there are the character cards. Characters only gain levels by age or by the Character cards. The Platinum cards will raise any character of any level up one level. The Gold cards will do the same but only for a specific Race, Class, or both. The Silver cards will take any character from a listed level to the next level as in from level 4 to level 5. The bronze cards do the same but again, only for a specific Race, Class, or both as in only Humans, or only Rangers, or only Gnome Bards. Of course, all the cards can be traded between the players.
Nice so u can lvl faster hehe
