I recenlty had a group end, and so I am in the process of finding a new one, this time under my supervision (not because that's necessarily better, but because I have ideas for my own games!). Problem is, I have two distinct ideas in my head, and I'm uncertain which one to try and make and recruit for, so I thought I'd ask you guys, the possible players, what you'd like most. At the same time, it will be recruitment, so if you want to play one(or both equally) of the ideas, say so! The first idea to get 5 players will be the one I make :) IDEA I: FOR THE QAEA TRIBE! " You've finally come of age, and the time to prove your worth before the rest of the Qaea Tribe is at hand. Together with other hopeful youngsters, you are to leave the confines of the village, and all you have ever known, in order to brave the wilderness all around. You are to seek out the Oracle, a mysterious figure that resides atop the Great Tooth. Should you survive the journey, your worth will be gauged, you will be given your Task; one that will determine if you are truly ready to become an adult of the Qaea. Can you survive against the odds, accomplish your Task, and return home an adult?" This idea builds upon a Tribal theme. The characters will each represent a would-be adult of the primitive Qaea tribe, sent to accomplish their personal Rite of Adulthood, called a Task. Because we're playing in a primitive society, some things will be different, and some things unavailable. Changes: Paladin, Warlock and Wizard classes unavailable, many others refitted for the Campaign. Any type of sword or crossbow unavailable. All other weapons appear in primitive versions, made of wood, flint and bone, but otherwise remains unchanged. Metal armor unavailabe, may introduce new armor. Only humans allowed. IDEA II: THE QAETHAN SKYSEA "It's been more than a millennia since the world was torn apart, several hundred years since the Theodea arrived and offered salvation. Life is thriving amongst this sea made up of magic currents and dotted with floating islands, known as Skylands. It all surrounds a glowing sphere, known only as "The Core". No one knows what is is, or what lies beyond its light, but all agree that it is what keeps the Skylands from breaking off, out of their chosen path. Nations have risen in the Skysea, comprised of many an island, some connected by bridges, while others require the use of airships. These ships, driven by magical energies, connects us... Binds us... And frees us..." This idea takes place in a world that was destroyed in the past by a war of magic. Torn apart, the pieces of Qaeth was sent drifting in a sea of magical energies, held in place by the mysterious Core, at the center of the thousands of floating islands. Airships will be a big thing in this campaign. Changes: Warlock slightly refitted Might add firearms The entire Qaethan Skysea is dominated by one major religion, the worship of the Theodea, mystical beings that saved the races from certain doom when the world was torn apart.
