Campaign mode now has an easy home. The main server. (The main server is the original server)  If you create a character for campaign mode it will be stored here. If you already created one I will try and find it and move it back to the main server. These characters will be stored under Campaign Mode in characters in the journal section. To create your campaign mode character we are going to do something different. We are going to be very restrictive. CLASSES from the Core Rulebook the Advanced Class Guide And Advanced Players Guide ONLY Convert any chosen classes to UNCHAINED if applicable No archetypes, Classes as written RACES will be standard CORE races only 150 gp starting equipment. You will be level 1 with a 20 point buy You may take an additional 2 skillpoints in Background skills which includes Appraise, Craft, Handle Animal, Knowledge(engineering, geography, history, nobility), Linguistics, Perform, Profession, or Sleight of Hand You may take 2 starting traits (non gold gaining traits only) You may only take feats from the Core, Advanced and Ultimate Books Anyone who is level 2 or higher in the game may make a campaign mode character

You will be starting as CREW aboard the Iron Kelpie and should choose an appro"pirate" job for your character. The Iron Kelpie has docked at Riddleport harbor and you may have any reason you are in this city and looking to join the crew. In some cases your story might include already being a part of the crew, in others you are joining here. You may also be joining with the interest in disembarking on the island when it arrives choosing work to pay your way.

I would like to make the following changes to the characters.  I have still not decides what kind of restrictions to have in 2.0 .. I thought you guys might enjoy the challenge of creating characters under some harder restrictions but if that is not enjoyable then there is no point really and instead of restricting the characters I am just going to make changes to the game that help accomplish what I want to be able to happen with PVP.  I still want to test a few things with the campaign but I will have to keep in mind any cheesy creations and ask you to change them.  I did not want to allow archetypes originally because I wanted to see how well the core classes without archetypes would do if I offered archetypes as a 2nd character award earned in 2.0.  Maybe I will scrap any reward system altogether.  My original idea was to give boons that allow use of archetype, use of featured race, use of certain books to players who stick around as something to make their second character better.  I thought players might enjoy being able to finally play that race or archetype they want to try out.  If you have suggestions on ways to give "unlocks" to characters in earned boons then I would love to hear your ideas.  I was going to offer these rewards during the campaign for your second characters but I will toss that idea for the campaign aside for now.  We will be testing out some PVP in the campaign but not until I do further testing.  To accomplish this I have created the  Arena for testing and you can create a character for that as well and help me test some combat scenarios.  If you have already submitted a character feel free to change it according to the following changes. Point buy 20 Books: Ultimate Books, Advanced Books, Core Books - Use Unchained If Applicable (for feats, classes and archetypes) Archetypes are allowed  Multi-classing is allowed. Gold = 150 gp Core & Featured Races 2 Traits (but none that give bonus gold)
