How would you implement Bean-Counter Resources?

Hey folks, brand new here and totally loving what I've played with so far.

I have a question now, the resolution of which will be crucial to my effective use of this platform. In most of the games that I run, each player has a small pool of resources available which we usually use glass bean counters to represent at the table. For example, Bennies in Savage Worlds.

What would be the best way to implement this in the Roll20 tabletop? Each player needs to have a separate pile, and the piles need to be visible to everyone there. They need to have attached quantities, anywhere from 1 to 20 and more.

Thanks!

Ideas:
1) The initative counter (although you would have to modify the numbers since the players could not).

2) tokens: create a series of tokens each with a number on them. Player goes from 5 to 6 they put the 5 away and get out a 6 token.

3) Cards: Similar to tokens.

4) Character bios can contain numeric data but that wouldnt be visible unless someone checked.

I'm trying the cards thing first, as it seems closest to what I'm looking to do.

I can't figure out how to get this "infinite" toggle to actually work, though. What does it do? The docs don't give many details on it, and it would _seem_ to indicate that I could use it to create an infinite resource.

But that doesn't seem to be the case. Hm.

I have never played that so I am not sure if this would help.

I know each token can have 3 track number to be used. For my own game (pathfinder) the only real number that it is ment to track is Hp. The other number I have set to mean diffrent things for each player (Magus is AP, Cleric is chanles, and Gunslinger is ammo and anther Grit). Exept for the ammo each number resets each day and is used offen so I set it to each player being able to edit it. It even gives them bars over thier token to see how much or little is left in it.

Could you use this to keep track on how many Bean each person has?

I have used card decks to do this before. In my Arkham Horror game I use it for Health, Sanity, Money, and Clue tokens.

When I set up one of these decks I add only one card. I make the image on that card and the back of deck image the same.

You still need to shuffle this deck at least once before you use it. Then you can drag individual markers to a players name or you can right click on the deck and deal a number of them to the player.

I have attached a screenshot of one of my deck setups.

Players can edit their own initiative numbers. That would be the best way to handle the limited resources, as long as you don't need to use the initiative tracker for anything else. Otherwise I would just use a "Bennies" token for each player with their name on it and use one of the editable bars.
So far I've been using Decks, and it's been working fine.

The problem is that you can't import a deck image from your library at this moment in time. Le sigh =(
Keith, one problem I noticed with the infinite deck is that cards can only be recalled one at a time. I have figured out that this can be circumvented by just deleting, though.
