Hello I am a 20 year old writer who seeks to use one of characters into a story that is plot focused. I do not powergame nor care if my Paladin can destroy your fighter bro. I am a theater person who finds games with a story, romanticism, spice, and something engaging other than rolling dice more enjoyable. I have found games that lack this element and ironically too much of the element. I care not for dungeons but still enjoy, however dungeon crawling should not be what is most important. I have been in groups where who you are does not matter because all you are required to is murder hobo your way through life. I have found stories that take the smaller things that I enjoy, too seriously. Yes, romance is important, but the campaign should not be about hooking up and living a second life. I like my life and don't wish to replace it with a fantasy. I seek a story to enjoy and be a part of. Adult content or no adult content, it matters not to me. I seek a story with adventure and romanticism, a world to be intrigued by, a party where my character can fit in and call his friends, romance is nice but don't care for it much. However, romance adds flavor and spice to the campaign, if done right. Otherwise, I don't care about wooing the GM. I like romance in a story but understands that it isn't the place for a tabletop RPG. My characters that I like to play are the "Odd Hero." Now by odd, I don't mean strange. For example, the paladin who hates the world who shunned him for being different. Instead of being good because his god told him, he ignores it and tries to recover the soul shards of a girl who he is in love with. A young pirate captain who does not care much about piracy but viewed as a pirate because he is an abolitionist. He claims that he doesn't like to medal in affairs that doesn't involve him but is pushed by his emotions. If he sees the little girl cry, he will ignore his rationality. These are the type of characters I like to play. I don't like to play with people who only care about powergaming, dicking around (shenanigans are fun but it shouldn't be the focus), and people who are just anti-party. I am chill and will work with the GM, I can play any character you wish of me, but I will modify it to fit my wants.
