Session begins with Rodworth lets UPF know that Rabbit has compromised the Malthar so becareful when dealing with them. With 5 days left on Balta-Sax's deal with the Rabbit, we continue to look for new ways to keep his com from eavesdropping on our conversations. The conversation includes a plan to draw out the Rabbit from Rodworth. The idea is use the rare atomic engine we found that is now housed in the Malthar station as part of payment for helping break Alice out of the Malthar station. The thought is that the Rabbit will want to get this engine. Even if we cant get Rabbit to come out himself, the idea is to at least narrow the area we are looking for by tracking the radio signals coming from the Rabbit's messengers. The data stick we got from the Vrusk is full of data on Mr. Beadle, very detailed information. The Malthar has an interest on finding Mr. Beadle and offers to pay for our services if we can bring Mr. Beadle to him. As part of finding a way around the Rabbit's com connection with Balta-Sax, we work with Dr. I to figure out how to hijack the signal and provide mundane scenes. Dr. I doesnt really do mundane, so some of the scenes are not PG - there is something about an appendage being added to the yazirian, and some other interesting tidbits. We kick off the plan and Yaz let's the UPF know to point their detectors in a specific area and to listen to Rodworth's chronocom. At Chrysanthemum's place, there is a heap of trash in front of the door. Not typical and the group approaches very weary. Slow and careful investigation yields only that it is a pile of trash - go figure. We go in and sit down to eat. There is no out of the "normal" activity. Rodworth calls the old number we have for the Rabbit. An agent of Rabbit will be sent to meet with us and 32 minutes later he shows up. We review the plan with the agent, noticing that each time there is a small lag of a few seconds between responses. After all that, the Rabbit is not interested. Striking out in trying to draw the Rabbit out, we check to see if the UPF was successful in tracking the Rabbit's location. They are able to get a general location within the city. We do a little investigating and track the location to a company that has connections to the "temples" found under various parts of the city and where we dealt with Sathar agents and the quill bats. We find a connection to PanGalatic. Following this lead we connect with a Vrusk who is a loyal PanGalatic worker. Yaz convinces him that we are looking to learn more about a potential problem for PanGalatic corp. Dizzaz, the Vrusk, recognizes us from the work we did against the Sathar and running for president, and is eager to help. Through his information we learn about a company that did the subcontracting for PanGalatic on the temples - LandBreakers. This work was commissioned by Andrew Styrigi and there were several temples through out the city. We explored the other temples and only the one under the Pink Monkey had a Sathar presence. Landbreakers is a division of Drill Masters and Drill Masters is located near where UPF placed the transmission.So we go and investigate. With 2 of us running for president, Drill Master PR person is very accommodating and offers to show us around the facility. We make sure to get a tour of the area where the signal was reported. As we get there, we find the exact location of the signal is a closet. In the back of that closet, there is a Brainbot. We come up with a plan to steal the brainbot and look to engage the Screechers to create a diversion. At first they werent sure why we wanted to break into a facility like this as it hasnt been our MO. We note that it is part of a job and they relax and agree to help. We leave off there.
