Hi, I'm looking for a group to play Dark Heresy with. I would prefer a longer campaign, but anything's good with me. I'm still new to Dark Heresy, but I tried being a GM for a group of friends that I have and found it a lot of fun, and I would like to give playing a PC a try. I'm looking to play a Feral World Psyker with a good amount of backstory and a distinct character personality. Here it is: I am a Imperial Psyker named Victus, rank Sanctionite. I hail from a desert feral world known as Laxus. I used to be a tribal shaman and clan leader on the feral world of Laxus, until a unknown warp disaster killed most of my tribe and only left me and a few others alive. I was orphaned, and have no family. I would describe myself as very stern and active. I like to take charge, and I am quick to anger. In battle, my bloodlust will get the best of me. I met the Inquisitor when they investigated the warp phenomenon that destroyed my tribe. Once he found out I was a psyker, he gave me two options; die, or work under the Emperor's name. Pretty easy choice. They find worth in me as a very competent psyker. I have pretty messed up mental issues from when they indoctrinated me at Holy Terra. Since then, I've had constant nightmares, and have learned to mutter the Litanies of Protection while sleeping to keep daemons at bay. The Inquisition means nothing to me. I can see the so called "bigger picture", and that everyone has their own worth in the grand scheme of things. I am no exception to that. Also, I will sacrifice anything but a life, especially my own. Death will only shorten the amount of deeds that a person such as I can do. Nevertheless, I dislike it when things don't go my way, and will go out of the way to accomplish my goals. What I desire is power, for power where I came from is everything. I'm mostly a melee-class, but shooting isn't out of the question. Please let me know if you're interested, and thanks! :P
