Looking for tile set recommendations!

I've tried various ways to create my game maps but offsite choices do not work well for the map grid. So I'm hoping someone can help me decide between some of the custom sets I can get or tricks to use the free stuff. My current adventure is set on a steam ship with a tavern type room, shops, and cozy state rooms. It will eventually come to port and take the adventure into cities and maybe the sewers. What do you find that works best for map making?

Russ' old style maps are gorgeous Gabriel has awesome, realistic, gritty wilds and many other amazing locations! Brass Badger has great modern/futuristic sets, as well as colorful wilds and even player tokens. Greg's dungeon elements allow you to give your players a rich, immerse experience! I personally recommend you mix and match those because they compliment each other really well and are great contributors to the community.  Have fun!
Thanks, Fernando D. !!

Not sure if this would also help Grizzdrop, but  Alexandre Menet has a couple interesting Steampunk airship sets that might work in well with your adventure (not sure, you mentioned the steam ships, just depends on your adventure).  Arcknight has a  Fireside Tavern  with all the fixins. In my Scene Additions set 10  (tent bazaar) and Set 11:  Marketplace Merchandise , are some things to fill up some booth space. Joshua Kurz has a  City Streets with some premade shops. As Fernando mentioned with several of us above, Gabe has several towns and city settings to choose from; Sean Archer also has some premade  buildings for taverns and weary travelers ; while Phillip Wright has some great exterior designs for  small villages . Or, if you are looking for more hand drawn feel for interiors,  2-Minute Table Top might be your answer.  Luckily, you have an enormous variety to choose from when you look at the market here on the site.
