Greetings,  My name is Frost. We are looking for above average players who are looking for more table time. My group is playing D&D 5e. It is a living campaign. What I mean by living campaign is that we've taken the basic setting of Forgotten Realms and are making it our own during our gameplay sessions. We have more than your average 4-9 players and more than one DM. What happens is a DM will put up a Sign-Up sheet with a time and date and players will apply to that if they can make it. The DM will put together a well rounded team of similar leveled people and announce the team for that mission with alternates. We ask that if you can't make it you let us know as soon as possible so we can let the alternate know they have a slot. Each session effects future sessions. The DMs use bulletin handouts to let all the players know the general outcome of each session as several IC: days pass between each session and as all of the players are apart of the same Guild word of mouth would have traveled to everyone through general gossip or meetings. All players can if they wish keep a personal journal which is a hidden  handout only they can see. If your character dies the journal and all of your belongings get turned over to the Guild and the journal is made public. This is a little Easter egg and lets players see how other players characters viewed their own and leaves a sort of legacy of the characters who have perished. In the journal you can leave a will detailing who gets all of your things or if a family member newly apprenticed to the guild will be given your items(this can be your new character). You can also give your items to other guild members or donate them to the guild if you wish to create a new character entirely. Right now we have one main storyline(50% RP/50% Combat) that is taking place between the towns of Blackwater(our town) and the town of Braidwater(these guys have 9 dragon riders leading their town) that is just getting off the ground. Most of the times these missions will take place Wednesday Noon Central Timezone and then Saturday and Sunday. We also have a new DM who is doing One-Shots of the thievery kind, rogue style Thieves Guild missions, so if you are into that type of game we have it. I am also running a secondary storyline that is still in creation. It will involve your standard sessions (50% RP/50% Combat) as well as what I call Guild Hall missions. Our Guild upon creation has re-purposed a long abandoned Wizard's College as our Guild Hall. This building come to find out is unique as it has many hidden treasures and traps. The Guild Hall missions will be about discovery, traps, puzzles, Easter eggs and all kinds of crazy contraptions. These missions are mostly RP. So that being said, we are looking for active players with good microphones who when they sign-up for a mission show up or give us several hours of advance notice so we can alert a alternative player. If you are new to D&D in general or just 5e don't let that keep you away. Right now our main storyline is at max capacity playerwise but our Guild Hall is looking for potential players. Joining the Guild Hall campaign and showing you're a good player, dependable, mesh well with what we are building will in time get you an invite into the main storyline if you wish to join it. Joining the Guild Hall campaign will give you access to the second main storyline, the Guild Hall events, and the One-Shot "Sneaky Sneaky" missions as sign-ups are posted.  If you are still reading that must mean you want to sign-up. Well let me tell you how. We would like you to find 4 generic but epic pictures of 4 different characters (1 pic per character). Create the characters name and backstory(3-5 paragraphs, not a wall of text but enough to let us get a feeling for the character). These can be of any race. We would like 2 evil NPCs and 2 good NPCs. If accepted and you would like use one of the two good characters you may do so. These do not need stats or anything else besides a name and short backstory.  As an example they should read similar to this. Note this is as long as we want to see the entries. They can be shorter than this example. Send your four characters including pictures to me in a PM and I will look over them and get back to you. We look forward to gaming with you. Some more examples of the type of pictures I am talking about.
Got some interesting PMs so far. Really looking for those that are creative, can follow simple guidelines, and have a thirst for good RPG.
We have a game session Sunday at Noon and also a Guild Hall event at 6:00 PM Central. We have slots available in both. For the Sunday games just send me 1 good and 1 evil characters picture and 3-5 paragraph background.
Game sessions went really well.  We've picked up a couple solid players since I put this out. We will probably pickup 4-7 more before shutting down this thread. While we do accept new players please have read the basic rules you can get for free as a pdf online. We are looking for solid players who can craft great characters.
Since this is being run with a sign up sheet. How often do you expect players to sign up for a session? Weekly, monthly?  Definitely interested just want to get a feel for the amount of commitment this is going to entail.
If you make a game ever 45 days you are solid. That's why we have more than 4-5 players in the campaign. Course if there aren't many sessions ran then less would be expected. Basically unless your character falls way behind the bottom average of class level you shouldn't worry about it.
